I was looking also and only saw three chicks plus Mary Ellen. Hope the other one is just out of sight where we can't see it.

I hope so too, Carolyn...it is soooooooooooooooooo windy up there...Parent on top of the box, 2 in the box, and one to the right side of the box, lying down...

2nd food drop for the box kids...the chick to the right of the box must be in la la land...it hasn't moved since it moved over there..

Sorry this is so long but I forgot to press stop record. I went back into the DVR to try and find all 4 (which I did), but in the process, I discovered that one of the kids has a foot/leg injury. You should be able to figure out which one. I hope its not serious.

From the DVR

They had been panning (2 kids lounging on the roof)...they focused in on this little guy for a long time..I'm hoping it was because they were assessing the injury and not because the operator had to answer the phone or something..LOL

This is just a semi-short snippet of that time period.

Up until a few minutes ago, he was perched on the lip of the box with one of his sibs...I just watched him limp badly to the back, right corner.

Oh dear, I guess they can't get him for treatment now either without a danger of all of them fledging prematurely. I hope the problem is something that will heal itself.

I have been watching this morning and the chick is bending toes and I did see her scratch with that foot. It doesn't look to be swollen either, so hopefully it's nothing major, just a little sore.

Thanks for watching, Carolyn...I haven't had time to check on these kids yet (been tied up with U of Alberta)..glad its bending the toes...that didn't happen very much yesterday!!
