(Off-topic: I've been trying to find out whether or not they migrate. This page is vague - are Ches Conserv's 'anatum' - so they generally stick around for the winter? Do they take shelter in the nest? Thanks.

That's a great question!!

My guess is that they stick around!! Most of the falcons in the nests we watch do NOT migrate....with the exception of the Edmonton (Canada) nests...they all migrate. The male at Rochester usually migrates. It will be interesting to see if he still does that this year..

I hope they keep this cam running through the winter so we can find out. So many cams turn off, and rightly so, after the season because of $$$...
