this is so bizarre to me.

cannot check tomorrow but will on Thursday. I am running a tape but have to hit the hay

We saw 2 kids at U of A this afternoon as we were ;passing through one was white and could not Id the other but thought green as they were all chummy and beaking. they were at top of CP

Piffle saw 2 kids at noon an d Chase

I am just stumped and am hoping yellow eats and learns to hunt

U of A

here is a snap of yellow last night at box and another youngster on rail

Jean saw green with a small kill , she was not sure if it was dead with all the hopping and flapping but green eventually succeeded.

Jean has seen R and a rather ragged Chase(3 young males Is a lot for him) and yellow and green . a lot of flying about.

I saw green in box this morning. and chase

small video of it. I know some really like to see chase and really like to see green

Peter will be downloading pictures from augst11 of white and green at site and then of our trip to Pembina. It was awesome as usual . I am working on my picutr4es of yellow from when he went back to eat at WEber on Mon night.

that is a feather on cam left behind by yellow as he flew off last night.

yellow is in box as I write

Bev., thanks so much for posting the pics...What a great catch to see all 3 juvies in the same pics at the same time!! WOW..

This is just so interesting about Yellow...He is at the U of A box now!! Is he just looking for playmates? Have Radisson and Chase accepted him? I wonder how often he goes back to Weber, if he does. Maybe we're getting to see what happens with an only child...

U of A and wEber

we were down last night and did not see him at WEber but did see him at U of A. ( at least peter is 99 percent sure)

He was flying with one other juvenile and playing and no adult is chasing him out as far as we can see,

when they were tucking in last night, there was flying going on between Chase and one youngster but we do not know who. It did not seem aggressive. I think what happened is one youngster went in turn in where chase was. . We could not get bands ,as it was getting dark

Peter thinks he scoped white and Yellow but light so bad.

it will be interesting for me to hear what Gord says .

We have never seen this but for last few years we have had lone females at Weber. they are more home bodies

and this is Green girls first year and so we do not know how much she participated. We saw Miss 'Edmonton play and train(( because she nested later, we were able to watch fledges there) but becasue we had fledging at same time, at both places ,I did not have the energy to watch the training at WEber.
He may have been bored. But after fledge watch, when we did spot him, we saw no interaction as far as flying with him, by adults. But that is not a fair assessment ,because he had been flying for over 2 weeks before we could watch properly.

my main thing is that yellow get trained and fed. I hope he goes out with others during day, It has been hot (record breaking heat) so they have not been venturing too far.

And I am hoping we have all 3 juveniles. Yellow may have upset the apple cart.

still catching up on photos . a pigeon was just in now.

:teehee:

peter wrote a letter but was told they had no one that works the weekends and others on holidays.

but I will write report tomorrow but I am elated as we saw all 3 kids and they all ate. And we saw them all tuck in. Makes it harder for us with no cam, but we will continue to monitor every few days and maybe , just maybe , cam will come back on line.;

trying to get caught up on stuff at home but still will get pciutres up. They are coming. almost :girlyes: :girlyes:

Bell

There is still activity at Bell. The site is not a great one anymore, with all hte construction. But we cannot tell the falcons where to go.

Peter and I plan on going downtown for an outdoor patio experiences when there is sun this week so we will certainly take another peek.

A big thank you to my friend who had been monitoring.

Green came to box with prey.
he msut not have been too hungry as he left it in box. of course he could be guarding it, do not know
