Thanks for that info, Kris!! Shaky and others have done an amazing job outfitting the Powers location!

I'm amazed at the concentration of PeFa's in that area and how well they are tolerating each other (so far)..I would imagine come Spring, there could be fireworks...but, maybe not!! Some of the territories in Cleveland are pretty close and they manage to tolerate each other, most of the time....of course, peace came with a price this year at TT...

Let's hope everybody at Rochester sticks to their "spot" and stays with their Mate!!

I keep checking at their forum watches and Beauty and DC are still there . will be interesting to see where they nest

Beauty was sitting for over an hour on the pan cam platform at TS the other day but no visits into the nest box since late summer by either one. Shaky and Carol spent some time recently upgrading and placing cameras at Powers but no visits by either Beauty or DC since that time. They spend there days together, sharing food, perched on various buildings in the city, tandem hunting. Time will tell where they end up nesting next year.
Big Frankie, Buckee and the female at Brighton haven't been seen in quite a while but Billie and Seth are seen almost daily on Seneca Towers building where Mak lives. Hopefully, things stay quiet for both pairs!

You're welcome! Forgot to add that Carol reported the other day, while on watch, that the roof on the Hawkeye nest box appears to have blown off. It's a really old nest, that was placed years ago on the Kodak Hawkeye Building, but has never been used. Buckee was seen there quite often but she hasn't been seen in several weeks now.

Actually, this was DC! Both Beauty and DC were seen sitting together a while ago on TS while Billie and Seth were together on Seneca Tower. :loveheart2:

There's a huge flag flying on top of the Powers Building and we always thought the flag was what kept any Falcons from nesting there. Yesterday, several men were at the nest box area replacing the old with a new flag and we're wondering if maybe that drove them back to TS? Time will tell!

Unless they discover another nesting area they like better, we should be set for nesting season regardless of which nest they choose! :sleigh:
