I am not Mary Anne, but I have no idea who this is. Kathy has been known to lounge on the ledge like this, but until I can get a read on the bands, I am making no assumptions.

Is any one else experiencing this? I tried first on my ipad, and now on my desk top to take a look at this sight. The newspaper sponsor has a whole-page ad that covers it, wanting me to subscribe to the paper online, which I wont. I went to the blog page which has a little picture of the nestbox, but if I click it to make it larger, it takes me back to the ad....Any suggestions?

Something I noticed about the "new" link you gave me - you can't set a refresh rate for the cam. It seems like it refreshes every 2 minutes, and that's what you get....

You can try a manual refresh...but, even though I've had the cam refresh rate set at 20 seconds before, it never did...I think it has a mind of its own...

Well, here it is 2016 already. And we are getting closer to that special time of year and it's not Valentine's Day - at least in my book. It's getting closer to falcon nesting season. Thought I'd pass along some recent pictures captured from the Skyline Club windows at the OneAmerica building, 36 floors up. A couple of us think that it is KathyQ checking out the humans looking at her looking at them. We think we can detect a "B" on the top of the two-colored band and it just looks like her (and she looks good!). The other picture shows a bird just chillin' out on the window sill and we think it is a male because the bird appears a bit smaller. Many thanks to Kasia K for the pictures. So glad we have falcon friends in high places!

Thanks Loza! I meant to post those earlier. Kasia K., who has the birds' eye view from her office is quite used to seeing KathyQ. She thought KQ was a he and called her Mr. Watson. When the smaller bird appeared she did not think it was a peregrine because of his size. She thought he was injured and called a rehabber who referred the call to me. We were pretty sure it was a male peregrine and that he settled in for a little rest. The male was gone the next morning and our contact is going to try to get band readings next time one appears on her window sill!
