I have been watching also bonbon. someone was incubating thenTiago was in with her then she went to box. I think she is try8ing to lay this egg there

so puzzling. but I guess all we can do is watch. they are acting like they are expecting another egg or have given up on this one

and so I am posting this small video . Cam times are really off compared to my time but video is within a 4 minute period . It was 11:12 Alberta time

I just saw both again.

tell them I have cam up 10?7 and recording . Still seems to be trying to lay eggs and occasionally incubating one on ground but it is in full sun

one has been incubating for qui9te a bit now and now one has come to ledge also . I believe female incubating

now both on ledge

she incubated for almost an hour, male came in at end and then went to ledge , she then went to ledge . was there till about a minute ago, 16:13 cam time
now eggs alone and no one home

I will look at tape when I come home but right now female in box and male on pipe at end.. Hope this is our resident pair, I think so, as they both incubate at times

Poor things - no wonder they're acting so strangely - the mess around their territory has to have rocked their world...

Stopped by the site this morning as I had an errand in the down town core so I went out of my way to check on the site. I don't know it that well but there were lots of cops due to the shooting overnight (someone died). No sight or sounds of falcons when I was there from 9.15 to 10.15. Lots of construction though .

Guys on the one solid reflective glass building - cranes everywhere - they still have 6.5 floors left to glass on that building. The one next to it, cranes and still 5 floors left to glass. Stages on building to the south on both the left and right with window washers - can't remember the names of the buildings but east and west of the Sheraton. The Bay - or Saks as it's now called is full of scaffolding on the outside as well. I saw the shelf that is one ledge over from the nest and observed all the white wash down the face of the building so I assume they perch there quite often. The two building they have left to put the glass on - it's the top floors so they are at nest ledge level or above - so imagine they can see right into the ledge

For perspective: That glass building you see right in front of the ledge to the left - that's the one that has 5 floors left to put glass on. To the right of it - which you can't really see save for a sliver, is a brand new solid reflective glass curved building - that's the one that has 6.5 floors left to glass. It also has one of those cages - that brings men up and down the building - and it was bringing people up when I was down there. So I can only imagine how distressed the falcons must be.

Also to the west and a bit south is King St nest, to the south is Rogers nest site and to the east is Mt Sinai (where Hunter is) and that's about the same distance from them as Stormin's nest is - so they are literally boxed in - and surrounded by cranes and noise.

WOW...this sounds so chaotic!! No wonder they are having such a tough time. I sure hope this is the cause of the confusion (not sure that is the right word) we are seeing..and that both are healthy, but mentally stressed!!

let us hope they reclutch becasue otherwise season is over. Not being pessimistic, but ...
