I still see just 4. I remember it was hard to see her eggs, but I don't think I ever saw more than 4 eggs.

Here is what I am seeing. Some of the wings almost look like heads. We will know for sure within a day or so.

Ladies, Ladies, ladies, ladies..

did anybody bother to look at the pic I posted or ljames? so glad you had fun counting heads and butts..but, unless biology has changed, ya can't get 5 chicks outta 4 eggs (there never were 5 eggs)... :teehee:

(I'm pretty sure this was a case of hatch hysteria..hee hee)

The baby had a tough time during this feed..

Thankfully, it was long enough that I think it got a few bites..

Keeping an eye on these guys (not that I could do anything), but since only 1 survived last year..

57 degrees..seems too soon for them to be uncovered (same way last night)

It is now 67º. I looked in early early this morning [about 4:30am and they were covered from what I could tell.

all four a spread out in that north south east west pattern, with mom on the ledge. There are some new prey feathers, but I did not see the feeding.
I still wonder if the male has two nests...he seems sporadic.

I can see and have been watching over the past few days, the female outside, sitting there. Just her tail for the most part. She has spent so much time out there over the past few days.
Looks like you were correct SGB, it does not look good for here.
There are hardly any prey remains in the box.
I wish I could go get them and put them into a nest that takes care of it's babies.
I have never seen the male here since hatching was occurring.
