Hope is back. The baby is crying and Hope is now calling for Terzo to bring in some lunch.

1:11 pm - Hope back with her baby, who was hungry and nipping at her beak.

He acts like he's starving, although since part of the nest is wet, there may have been a delay in feeds today due to rain.

She is filling him up!

he was fed five times yesterday and four today.

Bev, from what I read they will be banding but they haven't announced a date yet.

Dori and Louie's chicks (the Gulf Towers pair), however, won't be banded because the nest site they chose is inaccessible.

sh e is a beauty.

she is alone a lot but not really, one is just out of view as occasionally you see them . I still believe Hope is doing most of hunting.

she is well fed by HOpe

Some pics from yesterday. The chick is looking very well. It is old enough and the weather warm enough to be left alone in the tray. A parent is always nearby as in the pic below. Such a fluff ball. Saw the little cutie playing with feathers.

Kate said in her FB page that chick will be banded soon, at the end of the month - to be announced on the morning of the banding.
