I can see Durand and I think he or she is on top of the nest box because she keeps looking up...

I have to leave for a bit but I will be back. I am feeling sorry for Durand; she is so on edge and frustrated it seems. Well for me it seems like that!

Good heavens! I step away for 2 h rs and all heck breaks loose. Sky, I though the nest cam was ahead of the ledge cam. Now, I don't know! I wonder if Spark is around. These battles can go on for days. If it's him, I hope he can drive this guy out.

Wow...that bird looks like it dove down from the roof of the building! The roof is pretty close to the ledge.

my video show a falcon coming in and landing on the other ledge. . I am just home and looking at it now

Durand was in the box

So we may have 3 falcons here? I hesitated to say that but that is exactly what I thought I saw when all of that action happened. It was like a 1 2 3 thing going on - zip zip zip. Wow!

at about the 5:07 mark , you see a falcon or another bird, go to other ledge. Now I do not know at this time how many on nest box ledge but I think just one.( I edited out real quiet parts or it would have very long, but I made sure I did not miss any comings or goings)



then at 6_09 you see another falcon come onto ledge. I did not see one leave, so we must have 2 there now. and I do not know if this is one that was on other ledge. anybody's guess becasue we are not there. do not know where it went when it came in.

Based on listening to a quick audio and the excitement between both birds, if there are 3, sounds like Spark might be back.

This is anybody's guess, I think. bird that went to other ledge could have flown off and then came up to nest ledge. Just do not know. They do not have to fly off, in our view LOL the ledge is long.

Thanks Bev. I agree, it's hard to know if the bird that flies to the adjacent ledge is the same bird that later flies to the nest ledge. You never see anyone leave the adjacent ledge. I gather Durand arrived on the nest ledge first. She walks toward the box, but then comes back out on the ledge. A bird flies up to the adjacent ledge. You really don't know if this bird ever leaves that ledge. Durand heads for the box and then you see a bird fly up to the nest ledge, so that there are now two on the nest ledge. Not sure who leaves first, but only two leave the nest ledge and Durand was clearly upset.
