Someone was perched by the nest cam. Nest cam and sound are down for me this morning.

Just checked the cams. Sound is back and ledge cam is working. The nest cam image is black with no message. Not sure if working. Usually, I can barely make out the gravel at night.

SGB ,yes, I'm connected. When you reported on the previous page that you had connection again, I did'nt.
But one day later it returned. This is strange!

For a few minutes this morning, I had both cams and sound. Now I only have the ledge cam and no sound. (no egg, by the way)

I'll be gone until this evening. Maybe it will mysteriously reappear!!

BOTH cams up for me and I have sound! No one home.

First egg dates for Durand:
2016 - 3/12 (estimate, as cam was down)
2015 - 3/19
2014 - 3/19
2013 - 3/19
2012 - 3/26
2011 - 4/3 (she had 5 eggs this year - wow!)

Hi everyone. I was just downtown waiting for a bus. Didn't see anyone on the ledge. Checked cams.The ledge cam didn't show anyone & nest cam down. I was watching in case they came in for a landing. Suddenly two Falcons rocketed off the ledge & headed across capital square. One went high the other flew level. The high one mad a strike at a pigeon! It was a miss but the first time I have even witnessed an attempt. Stunning! They both then flew over to leveque tower and my bus came.

Durand is on the porch making short, sharp chups and I am guessing it's Aries on the ledge...eating a freshly caught black bird...and NOT sharing with her. Hmmm. She does not sound pleased. He had his fill...gave her some high pitched squeaks...flew off and took the rest of the bird with him. Oops. I guess Durand is not getting dinner tonight.

I believe this is Aries making a mess of the ledge...lol.

3:20 AM - Both cams are operating, sound is only coming from the nest box cam though.

No falcons on the ledge. Durand could be hiding inside the nest box, it's too dark to tell for sure.

Yup...both cams up with sound. Can't tell if only one cam has sound, but at this point, sound from the nest cam is more important. No one home.

OK everybody....Donna and the IT people are aware of the issue..

I cleared my Cache and I can now get the box cam. :hapdance:

I don't know if that's the reason it is working now or if its just coincidence. But, try that if you aren't able to get the box cam...

I'm liking the "lip"...at least I won't have to worry about her rolling the eggs out this year...
