Looks like Durand is perched on the ledge just outside the box instead of on top of the nest cam tonight. Hmmm.

Thanks so much for the coverage today!!

My time is very limited the next 3 days and as much as I am ready for her to lay an egg, she better not do it until either late Friday, early Saturday, Late Sunday....or better yet, some time on Monday!!

Well, she was in the box at dark and I got all excited...but, she left and I think that's her sitting on top of the box cam..

Durand in the box, Aries brings a food gift, Durand stays in the box, Aries leaves, Durand leaves..

Bev, we don't know for sure, but given his behavior, I think this is probably his 1st territory and nesting. He was slow getting things started with her despite being present since Sept, but more could be going on off cam. They have such unique personalities.

I've been checking the cams on and off today and it's been quiet. Either someone is perched on the ledge near the box or the ledge is empty. Not sure if it's Durand or Aries, but given how close we are to egg laying for Durand, I'm guessing it's her. Temp 42 degrees today in Columbus.

Seeing this on and off today.

I spoke too soon. Durand was just in the box chupping. I don't know if I missed a bonding session...gosh, I really need dual screens. I don't see Aries. He is somewhere off the ledge. Durand moved to the ledge with that hunched shoulder look. I really think she wants a canoodle, but no such luck. She just left.

Durand just moved into the box and another falcon, I'm guessing Aries arrived onto the ledge outside the box. She is bowing and chupping and he's just perched there. Jeeez! Now, he's gone.
