I am out for a bit but this is first time I would wish for snow or a bad rain storm. may calm things down.

I have put my other cams back up also as I am waiting for eggs at a few nests.
darn off she goes at 7:32pm

She was bobbing her head, you know when they watching prey...maybe they are focusing when they do that. I have watched the falcons here at home do this. Made me think she was watching prey and went after it.

Battling again.

Mom just came back as I was typing this. I agree - I don't think there will be any rest tonight and if Mom has an egg 3 in the chute, that's going to sap even more of her energy..

I appreciate the videos Bev. I'm trying to do stuff around here & hubby is home today, so I don't get to watch for long sessions. I can only watch for spurts before I have to get up and do something else.

I hope so too. Mom has already got her head tucked in. I hope she got to eat something today. Her poop shots are small, so I'm concerned about her getting liquids/nutrition.

I know this is "nature", but it is such a sad situation all the way around. Whichever mate the male ends up with, they will be a strong companion.

Bev - saw your post under breaking news. Last time I saw her, she was tucked in. No idea where she's at. Maybe getting something to eat? Poor Mom.

Can someone tell me why there is a post on the cam site that the eggs are destroyed? I just haven't had the nerve to look in. I've been reading here, but didn't see anything about the eggs.

who knows why they would say that. someone not watching obviously. maybe they think because there is a fight eggs are doomed but not so. They are just fine.

the eggs are fine and the male has been incubating. someone else mentioned they saw that. It shoudl be taken down.

they are also saying if new female comes in the nesting season is over. not so, and we here, all know that. it may just be delayed,

but our mom is going ot be O.k.
just wish I knew where she was. so not feel right going to bed, without seeing her,.

I'm going to not try and freak out at 10:30PT... nothing I can do about this, but I'm very worried about Mom. That she's been gone now over an hour and that the eggs are all alone concerns me. Going to bed, but will be doing some reading, so I'll check cam before I finally go to sleep.

I just checked , temp and at least at 1:30am ET, it's 39 so at least they are not freezing.

Your right. Nesting isn't over. If Cadence does win the site, Dad was still mating with Mom. If he was in hard incubation, then I would worry - remember Cher & Dan in SF that one year? They will just need to establish their bond, but if her hormones are sky high, always possibility we could see eggs within 2-3 weeks.

And, I too am worried about not seeing her. Honestly, this reminds me of New Girl in Harrisburg - just disappearing, and 2OR the original year she lost her site.
