I'm not sure what is going on at Jersey City. I definitely think there is a second falcon, but is it Juliet? I thought for sure Food would be the ticket to get her into the box...but, nope.. :teehee:

I'll be gone most of today, so I'll be of no help with either nest.

I'm missing mom as well. I wish we could hear word on her condition. :girlsad3:

When "it" gets closer to the cam, with "its" back to the cam, its hard to tell..LOL..a falcon has come in twice in that position..the male usually goes to the back corner...of course, I'm not saying the other falcon isn't the male..

Somebody is in there now, with back to cam...I need to go back and look at the size of Juliet when she is close to the cam.

all those pictures posted look like the male and he has white above his cere if that helps

Someone on the chat saw Cadence and dad mating on the roof cam at 7:36am. :loveheart:

At the moment Cadence is perched on the drain cover.

It was cold here last night and it's cold this morning. Temps were in the low 40's, but should be in the low to mid 50's today. Dad was on the eggs last night and he is on them this morning. With the cold front that moved through yesterday, he is doing all he can to keep these eggs going. I hope Cadence lays soon. If they are already mating, their bond has progressed very quickly, which like Carly said, is "great news."

Nice to see Juliet and the male in there bonding. I hope that she has chicks this year.

Really hate it about the other nest. I check in sometimes and usually see that poor Dad in there on the eggs. Isn't it amazing what they will go through to ensure the survival of their offspring. These birds are so special.
