There was just another feeding, but I missed the very beginning of it. All chicks ate until their little crops could hold no more. Niecey left after the feeding and Little Dad came into the scrape. He noticed a piece of food stuck on top of one of the chicks' beaks, and he picked it off. He now has picked a good spot to shield the chicks from the sun.

Finally got the picture back normal. Must have been a glitch somewhere cause on the Hanover eagle site the people were saying the screens were back to normal. I didn't miss anything here though.

Just watched a feeding, and this time saw the whole thing. The chicks were very hungry at first, but were soon so full that no matter how much Niecey tried, they weren't interested in any more food. Niecey took off with the remains while Little Dad waited on the stick.

Niecey jumped up and left the scrape, came back with prey (Lil' Dad brought it to her no doubt) She brought it in but none of the chicks stirred. She left with it and Lil' Dad appreared. Don't know if she stashed it or ate it. She returned and stood on the ledge for some time before returning to the nest.

Haven't had a look at the chicks yet this morning. Niecey is covering them. I am not able to get the view from the first cam, but the others are working for me.

Thank you so much Catwoman - I do have this link - I must be really dense - I can't figure out how to access the actual cam. Do you have a direct link to the cam? this link is for the general PA web site. Thank you so much for your help

Rose17kk, the link Catwoman provided is the same one I use. And I use Google Chrome. There have been periodic problems with the cams this year, and there is no direct link like before. Right now I'm still unable to get the view from the first cam, but the others are working for me. Niecey fed the chicks a little while ago, although I missed the beginning of it. Little Dad is there now. Very cool, damp, and gloomy this morning here in Central PA.

rosekk17. Do you not see the yellow box with an arrow beside it saying watch live beside it?

I copied the link from one of the cams here.

My cams are working fine in IE now too Heida. How strange.

Right now Niecey is in the scrape and Lil' Dad on the stick.

Scratch that, Lil' Dad is gone.

Everything is fine now for me. Yesterday they were still acting up so I went out and mowed grass. When I got done I wanted to see if there was a feeding going on or not and boom all was well and have been since. It was doing it one other sites, so whatever was going on got fixed. This was around 4:30 or 5 o'clock yesterday.

Glad for that, right?

Lil' Dad came into the scrape insisting that Niecey get up. She finally did. Maybe he told her to go and get the food to feed them. They are all snuggled under him right now.

Yep , here she comes with the food. Lil' Dad runs the show. He learned how to do that from Mom. :girlyes:

I swear, sometimes these feedings are torture to watch. :egg13:

But she gets the job done and now nobody is responding to her chups to eat more

I also watched that most recent feeding. One chick got kind of boxed in between the other two, but eventually was fed. Niecey couldn't get them to eat any more so she finished off the food herself.

Thank you ljames for the link to the cams - I now see them; thank you too, Jane for your help. I really appreciate your taking time to respond to me. I really love this site.

Happy to help, rosekk17. Watched a feeding that ended about five minutes ago. Not completely sure, but the prey looked like it may have been a Catbird. If so, it's a bit early for them to have returned for the season.

Tuned in a bit ago to find a feeding underway. Not sure how long it had been going on. All chicks seemed to get their share. Little Dad is perched on the stick as I type this. Quite cool and damp here today with off and on rain.

Watched a feeding that ended a few minutes ago, although I missed the beginning. All chicks look stuffed. And am getting the impression that one of them now has sight. Probably the one that hatched on Easter Sunday.
