I'm not so sure about there being five here. I think the coloring is mottled on a couple of them making it appear like more eggs. I've been wrong before, though. :wink:

I'm not too sure either about a fifth egg. I think the egg in the front has some coloration that makes it look like one in front and one right behind it. But the size wouldn't be right then. (I think) :roll: :wink:

Re: the speculation of five eggs: I think there are only four. First of all, Kathy immediately started full time incubating after the fourth was laid so it would seem unlikely [although not impossible] that there are five. I have asked Laura and Richard for their opinions. At this point they are leaning to four, but Richard wants a better look in the daylight. I will post their reports.
