Thankyou so much for your pictures, Sally! It's a windy day in Buffalo this morning- the cam is bobbing around. One little one has flying on its mind as it is flapping it's wings very actively. Flap flap- whack whack (as it hits its sibling in the face with its wings)....

Yes it is breezy and very cool but to get better as the day wears on! I think all of them should stay put for a few more days! But you know how teenagers are! They are sassy. :teehee:

Four babies and mama are present this morning... Two on the ledge, one perched at the box, and one running around in the box.

I was looking back to find banding info- I see that the chicks got their bands, but any info on boys/ girls?

I couldn't find any and when I was asked I was told that DEC doesn't share that info.. :girlcrazy:

Perching peregrines

Good Morning, Sally- we were watching at the same time! Yes, this the first time I've seen the youngsters out on the perch! And for Peregrine Place, all 4 are present with a very watchful mom keeping an eye on them... Are a couple of them panting a little? Seems early to be getting warm....

Not that warm; there is a lovely breeze and it's very comfortable so far but I don't know what it's like up in the box area! HAHA Yes I see the panting. Have to run soon. Off to the dentist.

I managed to get the outside cam only..There is a parent (I'm assuming Dixie) in the box..

I've lost track of where #4 is..it could be in the box with Dixie, but I can't get that cam..

Hi SGB - just got back from Walmart :girlcrazy:

(I Still say I shop much more frugally than my husband does...). All kids are present and accounted for- kind of moving around, but basically either on the ledge, on the perch, or in the nestbox. Mom is keeping an eye on them :biggrin:

EDIT- Now its 3 on the ledge, one on the perch, and mom has gone on an errand...
