Sorry for getting this posted so late. I actually forgot I could post here! Carolyn, I have been checking the web cam every day for the last few weeks, and it has not been up at all. I emailed Audubon for an update but have yet to hear from them. I will post their response if I get one. I've been watching Steve and Rachel, the ospreys in I believe Maine. Their third and last chick finally hatched. They are fun to watch - a little different than peregrines. They don't make much sound, and I noticed that the male spends more time in or near the nest along with the female. Thanks for the nice welcome, Gigi!

Thank you

Message from Fargo:

We are sorry to report that we do not currently have an operational camera system in place. We are currently determining whether we will be able to stream this season's activities.

THE 2017 SEASON HAS BEGUN
4/4/2017

Hello all! The 2017 season of the Fargo peregrine falcons has begun. We are happy to report that two falcons have returned to the downtown Fargo area. We have yet to confirm the identities of either bird, but it is most definitely a pair.

The determination has been made, that due to a major failure of our camera, we will be unable to stream the nesting activities this season. We understand that this news is frustrating for many of our dedicated "falcon watchers", but we are already considering our options for next season.

Please stay tuned to to this blog, as any available news regarding the identification of the birds this season, plus any nesting updates, will be shared in this forum.

Thanks!

-Audubon Dakota Staff

One of Miracles chicks that hatched in 2014 Jack has been located at Crookston Minnesota.
He is a daddy now to 1 and 3 more eggs not sure about the last 3 eggs. Tim Driscoll is on a a radio show talking to Jack. (the man Jack was named after)
Miracle is now at Grand Forks.

Sorry to hear of - Andy's - injury.
We had to call him Andy ya know!
Calling a Daddy Annie is just .. too .. uh .. well .. you know. :egg7:

These things happen in the wild. Its nature.
I am glad Audubon is monitoring.

I am eager to hear about fledglings.

They aren't even sure if Annie is injured. He was standing with his foot up like a normal peregrine would.

There may be an injured peregrine falcon, but Johnson said nothing has been confirmed yet.

A picture taken by a local birdwatcher showed the peregrine seems to be relying on one leg more than the other.
