Little Dad has arrived on the stick. I've not seen him this morning, but saw a report elsewhere that he wanted on the eggs and Niecey wouldn't get up. And it is SNOWING here right now.

Just discovered Little Dad's tail sticking out from his camera perch. That first batch of snow went by, but now there's another batch coming. It is cold here - 36 degrees as of 12:30. Warmer weather IS coming.

Niecey has been looking around for Little Dad for a while. A couple minutes ago he brought some food to the point. Niecey promptly went to get the food and flew off with it. Little Dad is on the eggs now. Twilight is fast approaching here.

6:52 LIL DAD BROUGHT A GRACKLE TO THE POINT FOR NIECEY'S BREAKFAST. SHE CAME DOWN TO GET IT AND FLEW OFF WITH IT WHILE LIL DAD WENT TO COVER THE EGGS. NIECEY WAS BACK ON THE POINT IN NO TIME WITHOUT THE GRACKLE.........

Not sure if Niecey returned from breakfast a bit ago or not. She was getting settled on the eggs, while Little Dad was on the point cleaning his beak. After he roused himself, he flew off.

Chilly rain is falling here. By dumb luck I checked to see if Little Dad was on his camera perch about five minutes ago. He WAS there, and just about the time I looked at that view he flew off of there and over to the scrape to relieve Niecey. She got off the eggs and flew over toward the U Building.

Second nest exchange I've seen today. Thought Niecey was going to stay put, but she gave in and went somewhere. Light rain is falling here, and it's about 45 degrees or maybe a little warmer.

Nice zoomed in view of the scrape now. Niecey was there when I tuned in earlier, but Little Dad took over egg duty a few minutes ago. It's kind of foggy here, dripping a little, and in the mid 40s.

When I tuned in a bit ago, Little Dad was having breakfast on the point. Not sure what it was, but it had yellow legs. Starling or Robin? Not sure what he did with the food, for Niecey is still on the eggs. Light rain here this morning, with temps in the 50s.

I think Niecey might be up on the camera perch right now. And yes, Little Dad LOVES to incubate eggs. The mold was broken when he was born.

I made a quick stop downtown about an hour ago. Could see on my phone that Little Dad was on the eggs. I found Niecey on the point, busy preening. Was hoping for a nest exchange, but didn't want to risk a parking ticket, so had to leave. She's still on the point, and he's still on the eggs. Found a bunch of Flicker feathers on the sidewalk below the end of the ledge, so that's probably what the meal was the other day.

Little Dad took off for the night roost about a minute ago. Was watching him on the point hanging on for dear life, as it's gotten kind of windy here. Hope the night roost is sheltered from the wind. Niecey looks quite content.
