:attention: I just read the Facebook article about how they have brought an “orphaned” chick to this nest to be fostered by Maltese and Peace. The chick has been well accepted. Five babies- is nt that a lot for a set of falcon parents to care for?
PS - I just peeked at the nest, and everybody looks happy! I wonder which one is the addition?

This is what I get all too often since May 25 when trying to open a USA webpage:

Annoying sometimes . . .

Someone is one the Northwest corner of the building S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G out a wing! I saw the bird at a great distance so I was unable to tell if it's a juvie or an adult. (Got to remember to leave my binocs in my car ! )

:egg16: Wonder how they were able to add a chick without spooking one of the others out of the nest @ their age? Glad it worked out for all, though. That I can see, all are on the porch right now acting as if they are @ a slumber party! A little rowdy and still awake!! Hey there, sbwatcher! :dancegirl:

:hithere: Good morning SWINWK, and nice to hear from you, sbwatcher- thanks so much for jumping into the conversation! I just looked in, and though I only saw 4 juvies, I assume one was just off cam... Also it looks like one baby does not have a band ? Am I right, or is it just my eyes? I would have thought they would band the adopted juvie when they moved him...?

:hithere:Hi SGB- yes I noticed the other day that it seems that one juvie is not banded. With the lens so cloudy it’s hard for me to figure out who is who... one time today there was only one Banded juvie in sight. I know there is a place on the ledge they are not see-able, and in the nest box right under the cam also. I did see one hop from the vertical board up onto the roof of the nestbox.
