yes, Nancy, Val was feeding so she filled one first and then the other two.

should have another hatch by morning. great shots :7val:

I wished the cam one of those back up things, cause I looked at the egg just when Dan covered it up. Unless I was imagining things, it had a pretty good crack in it. :14val:

well I am hopin git does not hatch as something not right here. no food has been brought in today. wee one has no t been fed. only 2 ate at 8:49am

I can hear th e wind out there. and now see things blowing in box. HOpe Dan is O.K.

If there was a crack in the egg, it got turned around. I haven't been here much today. I can see the Val and the kids are hungry.

it was quite a crack Nancy, but I hope it does not hatch. we know how the eggs get turned I am very nervous for this site today. Hope nothing has happened to Dan.

I fear something has happened to Dan .
chicks still alone I am pessimistic here, and am not usually but I also fear for the little chick. if Val has to hunt, it has been raining all day yesterday and not warm, an d it was not fed yesterday so...
Val is back and no food.

val jsu t left again for brekkie , I think, see 3 chicks and they are calling and hungry. I did hear falcon calling off ledge. probably Val. my heart is very heavy, and i am praying for a miracle.

they do not interfere hear. so I cannot watch. will check in on them and pray. my cam is on record here . I cannot get so attached to some of these nests. I think I will just go in and out of them. too hard.

I know it i s nature, but I always choose not to watch this part.
darn, I wish they would leave cam panned to see ledge

Good Morning! According to Yahoo Group, at 7:50AM, both parents arrived with food. Dan's okay. Must have been the weather, or maybe something did happen to him and he needed to recover for a day ???

I opened the Cam and see a large pigeon being fed.

yes, I have been doing some videos for the group, since Jim retired but jim has been zooming cam today and I am so glad to be wrong

Especially, when I just saw Val go out and get food, and bring it to the little ones. And although I walked away and came back well into her feed, I saw she did feed the baby. Not sure which one it was cause 2 on the end were partially hidden by the "big" chick, but I saw bites given out to everybody! :loveshow:

No, no, no Bev. You have good instincts. Those babies went without food and from the what you saw, Val was up and down a few times. I think you are right, something happened, but no idea what. Maybe he soft collided with a building yesterday and needed to recover. Maybe he's getting challenged for the territory. I think of Yankee in Buffalo with his foot. Remember the year DC disappeared for a day or 2 and we thought that new male as going to come in? We are lucky that he's back. :1val:

I am cooking videos but wee one did eat. good eye Nancy. I watched 4 times to be sure. I have to watch feedings at my sites, to make sure all get fed.
