Terzo left and in a few seconds Hope moved and I saw a piece of broken eggshell!

I couldn't tell if that was eggshell from a prior hatch. I was afraid maybe we are seeing a delay in next hatch because one of those shells was over an unhatched egg?

ETA: Hope seems much more settled/calm this season.

I am thrilled with her so far!! The piece I saw was white, I don't recall seeing pieces recently. I keep checking the stills, to see if it captured. I also keep checking Kate's Blog. I think it is running long too for some reason ... pip to hatch.

All I know is I came out to post, went back in and she was standing toward the front and left of nest and I saw little legs sticking out from under her and I think she made some tearing motions and went toward the other chicks. In the newest still, I only see the 2 chicks and the newest one is no longer in the back and she is leaning over something..

Yes, I've been here. I've been trying to get a picture of the new one, but it's behind the chicks and the eggs and it doesn't look like its moving. I know Hope noticed it too when she went to cover the chicks up.

It was still there (or part of it was) when she fed the chicks and covered them.

Catwoman, there was no prey in the nest to feed the other chicks. Torzo came back after he left, but did not come into the nest. The only reason I know he came back was by her reaction. He did not drop anything into the nest to feed the chicks.

Edit to add: If you saw her feeding the chicks, it was the 3rd chick she was giving them is what I am afraid of.
