:buzzybee: I can hear Dad calling softly from nearby. And here's one of the progressing pip taken about 10 minutes ago by Larry T:

:buzzybee: From Dr. Sharpe earlier today when asked about Mom's left eye being closed:

Institute for Wildlife Studies
One eye closed is normal. Birds and aquatic mammals such as dolphins and whales display the remarkable phenomenon of unihemispheric slow-wave sleep: one half of their brain is awake, including an open eye, and the other half shows the electrical signatures of sleep.

:hatchegg: Wonderful! One out and all fluffy this morning and another one is on the way. Mom is very tight on the eggs....refuses to give us a good peek.

Looking good. Feed at 321 pm Pacific time. These kids are robust and Mom gets the food right in their beaks.

:spring1: This cutie is looking a little on the buff side. Here's a focus of one from yesterday being fed by Mom captured by Trish Rawlings:

I believe the 4th egg may be hatching. I think I am hearing occasional tapping and Mom is listening to it and paying more attention to it. It looks like it has a crack.

532 PM Pacific time. Mom listening to the egg and shuffling on it.

700 PM Pacific time.
Left side of egg edge looks like a crack.

Crack more visible when Mom moved it.
