That is a tremendous series of pictures, ljames. Thanks so much. Glad to see there was a feeding in the box, especially for the two younger ones. Four are sacked out right now and one up on the ledge.

About 20 minutes ago Red Girl flew in with some prey. Three chicks were already on the ledge, and she started feeding them. Then the fourth one hopped up on the ledge, which left little baby Red alone in the nest box. He/she tried twice to get up on the ledge and didn't make it, and was frantically pacing back and forth. However, on the third attempt, he/she got up there and got most of the meal. All five are now looking out at the big city.

When I tuned in a bit ago, four chicks were already up on the ledge. One of them was little Red. The fifth one hopped up there shortly after I tuned in.

Thanks to all for the pictures. Checking the cam this morning and not surprised to see all five up on the ledge. One of those chicks is almost totally feathered out.

Lots of fluff flying around, they'll be ready for takeoff soon.

If anyone would happen to be on the garage roof across from the nest building, they would being seeing one of the chicks standing like an adult. It's facing the building, but right on the edge of the ledge by the nest box with its tail hanging straight down. I'm not sure when the fledge watches are starting in Wilmington, but there is a training session for volunteers tomorrow (Sunday) morning. And while I was typing this, dinner arrived. BIG dinner.

I don't know where the 5th one has gone...it might be over where we can't get the cam. Tell you what, I think its a good idea to get the cam up and running before fledge watch. Now I see it--he's just barely on the cam that's working.

Just saw all five. Red Girl is beak feeding them in the box, and little Red just stole a big piece of food including a foot, which was scarfed right down. I learned this afternoon there are four males and one female. I don't know the gender of little Red at the moment.

Oh catwoman, I had just read your post about not seeing the 5th chick, when I opened the cam, and said to myself, dang, I don't see one of the chicks now. I must be blind because there it is in the nest big as a whale.

Fledge watch is starting in Wilmington tomorrow. Wish it was a little closer to Harrisburg. Looks like two of those birds are totally feathered with a small amount of fluff on their butts and a mohawk.
