Tuned in a bit ago to find Little Dad in the scrape. He started chattering, and discovered Niecey on the stick. She came into the scrape and they had a brief bonding session. Little Dad left the scrape and is now on the point. And I understand that yesterday he spent MANY hours on the ledge over there at the U Building, to the right of the silver pole.

Niecey just left the front shield after a heavy preening session to the nest, because Lil Dad has arrived to the point! She is lying in the bowl.

Now Niecey is on the point and Lil Dad is on the stick! She flew at 7:48 and going to the stick cam, I discover Lil Dad on the ledge standing next to the stick. Going back in at 7:50, he has flown too!

Thanks Jane, Swink, and loza for the coverage. I have not been able to watch the nest since these people made the decision to place the transmitter on poor little Red Girl. (just to be part of a study) But I love Lil' Dad and find it hard to do w/o hearing about him. I don't know if I'll ever be able to watch the nest again. I decided not to watch San Jose either because of bad decisionsin the past by so called " experts" in the field. And now Clara, my most beloved falcon in the world is gone. Lil' Dad is 2nd and I can't trust the decisions of others, Durand, 3rd has been forced to make a nest elsewhere. Pa, De Mortel , gone, also. I miss all of you too, but my heart has been broken so much, especially this last year, not sure if I'll be back. We'll see.

Lynn

I will say this. Watch the birds, and that they are to blame, if a person does bad things

I've not had a whole lot of time to look in at the cams due to being involved with Monarch butterflies. I did find Niecey on the point this evening. She left around 8:00.

Just watched Little Dad take off from the shield. Flipped over to the point view cam to see if he landed on the point. Instead I saw him fly up to the camera perch.

I've been MIA for the past several days. Tuned in a bit ago to find Little Dad on the shield. Nice to see some sunshine this morning after several days of gloomy weather.
