:15heartbeat: E12 has not been seen since 10:27 yesterday morning, but too soon to say if she has left for her eagle journey. Their last chat here for this season was yesterday evening.

:flirty: E12 was last seen at 12:31:31 leaving the nest after another bird was pestering her and flying off toward the west pasture last Thursday on May 16, 2019. She holds the record now as the "longest staying" before leaving on her eagle journey for this nest at 144 days. :teehee: Well wishes for both E12 and E13 on their journeys!! Stay safe and healthy you all!! :dancegirl:

:1val: Turning the cams off for the season on Thursday. From SWFEC:

We can't believe it's almost time to say Good Bye to Season 7! Cams will be turning off this Thursday for maintenance and improvements.

Many thanks to all who watched, posted photos/videos, laughed and cried along with us this year. We are so proud of Harriet, M, E12 & E13.

See you in the Fall; for what we hope to be our best season yet!

--- The SWFEC Family

Cam installation for Season 8 has begun. Here are some highlights from today. Before I left Harriet circled over the area, checking on her territory as always. She appeared to fly at a branch from a west pasture tree and grab it, but she missed and flew to perch and watch the pasture activity from another tree. When she saw M15 flying over her, she followed him across the road. Both perched in a pine tree behind the shopping center to watch the pasture activity. I will visit the nest again tomorrow morning.
Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com
Thank you to Dick Pritchett Real Estate (SWFEC), Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Landing & several friends for allowing me to film on their premises.
