:7val: Nest exchange begins at 5:37 with Ma taking over egg duty.
At 8:40, Rocky makes a quick appearance in the lower, left, corner that does not go unnoticed by Ma!!

:15heartbeat: Ma left at 8:03 with Pa showing up to the left branch a minute later and then down to the eggs where he remains.

:15heartbeat: At 12:52, Pa flew just as Ma landed with a fluff delivery. Then to the eggs.

:15heartbeat: Pa in at 3:08 for nest exchange.

:15heartbeat: Saw in chat there was a ground report of Pa leaving the nest to chase after an intruder to the area. The nearest time I could find on the cam was at 4:26 Pa alerts, 4:27 to the left branch with alerts and flew seconds later. At 4:28, I could hear alerts in the far distance and then Ma came in during this same minute and got on the eggs. She remains on egg duty at 5:30.

:15heartbeat: Pa returned at 6:06 with a fluff delivery that Ma was very interested in. There was back and forth interaction with fluff between them, but Ma would not get up. You could tell he was interested in getting on the eggs even backing into her as she was still over the eggs. He moved a few sticks and she was finally able to reach his fluff pile that she brought around her. Finally she got up and Pa wasted no time in moving in on the eggs. She flew at 6:09. Pa is still on the eggs at 6:25. Ma returned at the end of the 6:25 minute. Pa off the eggs at 6:26 and to the left branch flying within seconds. Ma to the eggs for the night shift.

:1val: Pa showed up at 7:23 to start the nest exchange and he remains on the eggs now.
Ma showed up at 9:20 with a fluff delivery and Pa got off the eggs and to the right branch and flew. Ma remains on the nest at 12:21.

He remains on duty till 9:50 as he is getting off the eggs, Ma arrives to the left branch. He flew and Ma takes over egg duty. Ma got up at 11:04 and flew and Pa arrived to the back of the nest within seconds for his turn on egg duty.

:1val: At about 2:38 while on the eggs, Pa stiffens as he looks out over the nest and he start's alerting, then stands continuing to alert. You can hear Ma respond in the distance. Then he goes to the left branch and continues alerting with Ma responding at intervals. Surprisingly, he goes back to the eggs and settles. At 3:16, Pa got off the eggs and went to the left branch and flew. Ma flew in to the branch and down to the eggs with in the same minute. Pa back at 6:10. Ma flew from the right branch at 6:12. Didn't know if she would accept the break or not as it is getting late. Pa to the eggs. Ma returned at 6:37 to the left branch and then down to the nest. Pa left flying out the back of the nest. Ma to the eggs.

:1val: You could see Pa flying from the back through the fog and landing on the nest at 7:26. Ma flew a minute later. He remains on egg duty at 9:33. Still a touch of fog in the background. Pa flew at 12:32. He returned within the minute and stood on the back of the nest looking around. He turned around and flew out the back of the nest at 12:35. Probably it is he who returns to the left branch at 12:39. And flies at 12:42. Kinda odd behavior. Ma to the nest at 12:45 and she remains on duty at 2:01. Ma is still on the nest at 4:55, but she has been calling softly for Pa to come give her a break! Pa never came back to give Ma a break nor did he do a check in before bedtime as he usually does. Pa could be heard calling to Ma at 8:06 from the back woods. There is a video of it near the end of tonight's chat. She responded. Maybe he'll show up early in the morning as she has been on nest duty since 12:45 this afternoon.

:1val: Pa flew at 11:46 with Ma arriving to the left branch at 11:47 and then down to the nest to cover the eggs a minute later. Pa in at 2:54 with a fluff delivery that had some small sticks mixed in with it. Ma saw him and I think she thought he had food from the odd shape of his delivery coming in. She got up and almost mantled near him till taking a good look at what he brought and then she flew. Pa left his fluff on the rails and immediately went to the eggs where he remains at 3:24. Ma in at 5:05 with a fluff delivery. Pa got off the eggs and flew out the back of the nest. Ma to the eggs for the night shift.

:1val: Ma flew out the back of the nest at 7:44 and Pa arrived to the left branch within seconds and then to the eggs! Pa is getting up at 10:21 as Ma arrives to the nest. He went to the right branch and flew. Ma spread a little fluff that was already near the rail and then to the eggs. Pa in at 3:00 to the left branch with a whole fish! Ma is squealing. She can't get off the eggs fast enough. He landed on the nest with it and she went over squealing and mantling in front of him, then she grabbed the fish! Eventually, Pa went to the eggs. Ma enjoyed every bite of her fish and then flew at 3:06 to the left branch, then away.

:1val: Pa in at 7:51 with a large fluff delivery. Ma got off the eggs and flew toward the back woods a minute later, then Pa went to the eggs. Nest exchange at 10:13 with Ma coming on duty! Pa in at 1:24 with a coot delivery for Ma!! No nest exchange, just lunch for Ma! Pa arrived at 4:26 and headed for the leftover coot that seemed to lie in 2 piles. Ma was not happy. She got up and snatched part of what he was eating, dropped it away from him and started eating a pile that was near her. She reached in again and snatched part of what he was eating and also stole a small bit from his beak. Pa continued to eat his piece and then even gave her a bite. At 4:31, she flew out the back and Pa continued to eat. He continued to eat till 4:54, then to the eggs. I see something left on the floor of the nest, but that might be only feathers. Ma back to the left branch at 5:55 and then down to the nest finding tidbits to eat connected to the feathers. Pa up to the left branch, then flew out the front, but within seconds you could see him flying in the background toward the woods. Ma to the eggs for the night!

:1val: Pa arrived to the left branch at 7:37 with a fluff delivery and then down to the nest with it. Ma got off the eggs and up to the left branch and then flew at 7:39. Pa to the eggs after messing with the coot remnants a little. Ma in at 10:06 with a fluff delivery. While Pa remained on the eggs he attempted to help spread her delivery, but I don't think she wanted that so much. Pa flew a minute later out the back of the nest. Ma to the eggs at 10:08. Pa back at 10:30 with a fluff delivery. While spreading the fluff, he must have found a tidbit of coot as he gave Ma a tiny bite while she is still lying on the eggs. Ma didn't want to get up, so Pa flew out the back of the nest and down and up into the woods. Ma remains on egg duty at 10:50.

:1val: Pa up at 5:28 and toward the rails where he finds a morsel or so to eat, then he hit the jackpot, uncovering and pulling up a big piece of the wing maybe and he flew out the back with it. He either wants to have it without sharing or he's taking out the trash! I'm going with the former!! Ma comes flying in from the back woods at 5:29 and probably on egg duty for the night!
