:1val: Pa in at 7:52 with a fluff delivery! Ma reached over and snatched some from him while she remained on the bowl to spread near her left side. She got up and flew a minute later out the back of the nest. Pa to the eggs. I didn't see when Pa left, but I don't think Ma was away for a long time this morning. Pa arrives with a fluff delivery at 12:23 and Ma reaches over and takes all of it from him in increments to place around both sides of her while on the bowl. She flew at 12:25 and Pa to the eggs.

:1val: Ma on the eggs for the night. From chat, it seems Pa did not come in late afternoon/early eve to give her a break. Not going to look back as I'm still a little "shocky" from the half time show! :teehee: But, they can move!! :shock

:1val: Pa in at 10:35 with a fluff delivery and spreads. Ma flew a couple minutes later.

:1val: At 1:49, something caught Pa's attention and he stood, then alerted and flew out the front abruptly at 1:50! Still within the 1:50 minute, one of them arrives to the left branch mostly out of view and alerts. It was Pa and in a short bit he hopped down to the eggs. At 1:54, he alerts again while surveying the area from the egg bowl. Still within the same minute he got up and continued to alert. Ma arrived to the back rails within seconds at 1:55 and he went to the left branch continuing to alert, then flew! At 1:57, Ma leaves the back rails and to the eggs. She makes several adjustments to the bowl and grabs fluff to spread about and down to incubate at 2:01 with her right wing spread out some. From the approach cam at 1:50, you can see Pa fly out and return as above during his initial alarm and later at 1:54 the eagle fly above the nest tree and Pa stands and alerts and then Ma flies in. Ma got off the eggs and flew up to the left branch at 5:25, then flew off. Pa arrived to the back of the nest immediately after and to the eggs. She returned at 6:27 to the back of the nest and Pa left within the minute from the rear flying out and down and up into the back woods. Ma to the eggs for her night shift.

:1val: Pa in with fluff at 7:56 this morning and starts his egg duty. Ma flies. Ma returned at 2:00 and Pa goes to the left branch and flies. Ma does a little nest work and eventually to the eggs.

:1val: Missed out today if Pa came back to give her another break before night, but hoping he did. She's been sleeping at intervals when I've observed her before and after the midnight hour..

:1val: Ma back at 12:30 and Pa out. At 3:29, Pa returns and Ma leaves. Ma returned at 5:58 and Pa flew a couple minutes later. At 6:02, Ma toward the eggs and she is aerating a minute later when she sees something out the rear of the nest that she does not like and flies out immediately in that direction. Pa comes in to the eggs seconds later. By 6:04 Ma returns, but both are alerting and looking out toward the rear of the nest at something that must be flying in that area. At 6:05, Ma flies out the rear again! Pa gets up to watch in that direction, then he gets back down over the eggs. Pa continues to watch in that area at 6:10. Ma returns to the rear of the nest at 6:29. Pa flies at 6:32 and Ma to the eggs for the night!

:1val: Ma left at 10:30 and Pa came down from left branch at 10:30 to get on the eggs. This is the first nest exchange today. Pa is wet from the rains, but Ma looked soaked before she left. Flying will help. By noon, Pa is looking soaked now! Ma in at 3:44 with a hefty stick! Pa leaves immediately! She gets it over to the right rails almost by moving it in increments, then to the eggs. Pa in at 4:30 and Ma leaves immediately! She's back at 6:11 and Pa flies from the left branch a minute later. She makes her way to the eggs at 6:13 and spends quite some time making her adjustments to the bowl, etc before lying down on them for the night shift at 6:17.

mom is in just 12:03pm

you can tell how windy it is by the way dad had to sideways flap out it is cool . dad left and then came back and then mom came in.

I watched on approach cam and I think mom had to go around a few times to get there. I watched a few times to see if maybe another bird in area but I think it was mom and dad .

:1val: Ma flew to the back woods at 1:21 and within seconds, Pa can be seen flying in from there to the left branch and then to the eggs! Ma returns at 2:35 and Pa flies to the left branch and out within seconds. Ma stood for a bit, then after her adjustments to the bowl and eggs, she settles on them 5 minutes after coming in. Ma flew at 5:07 with Pa arriving to the left branch within seconds and then down to the eggs. Ma returned at 6:52 to the left branch with Pa flying out the back about a minute later. After waiting for Pa to leave, she hopped down to the nest and then to the eggs making her usual adjustment to the bowl and them, she is lying on the eggs 4 minutes after arrival for the night!

7:29 - you could see dad flying at back on lands on left branch. mom is up and dad comes in to brood.
9:16 it is snowing and dad is covered. I know it would be better for mom to be on but glad she is getting a break as we do not know how long this predicted snow will last.

Some alerting while coming and going during these times that sounds as if he is on the tree, but out of view of cam 2. Pa off the eggs at 1:41 and flies and Ma getting on the eggs at 1:44.

Pa flew at 3:29 from the right branch after his food gift. Pa back at 6:19 with a fluff delivery in his right talons. Ma up and to the left branch and flies within seconds. Pa starts to spread his fluff and happens to pull up some leftovers and decides to eat that and quits spreading the fluff. Then to the eggs. Ma back at 6:37 with either a very sparse fluff delivery or some that got caught in her left talons when she left from wherever she came. Pa took his time before getting off the eggs and flew from the back of the nest then down and up in to the back woods. Ma to the eggs for the night shift!

:1val: At 7:16, Ma ackwardly backs up from the eggs to do a PS when her left wing that she has thrown out to support her balance strikes a small stick on the left rail, setting it into a shaking motion. Ma coming back toward the eggs sees the small stick shaking up and down that she had set in motion and begins to alert and advance on 1 foot and wing power toward it while flapping her wings at it. I believe she thought she had a small intruder on the side of the nest, not realizing she had caused the stick to move. :teehee: We hear Pa respond vocally in the distance to her alerts. Ma flies at 7:17 out the back of the nest and P arrives to the left branch the same minute and down to the eggs.
Ma returns at 8:35 with a pine bough to place and Pa gets up and flies. Ma to the eggs.
Pa in to the left branch at 11:30 with a "well-dead" rabbit! He moves to the eggs at 11:33 and Ma moves to the rabbit for lunch! Unsure of when Ma finished her meal and left, but she returned at 2:19 with a large fluff delivery! Pa flew! She spread her fluff some, then to the rabbit to eat more! When she's finished with the rabbit and adjustments to the eggs and bowl, she is lying on the eggs by 2:28. Pa returned at about 4:01 and Ma to the left branch a couple minutes later, then flies. Pa to the eggs at 4:05 after he briefly inspected the rabbit, but did not eat. At 6:16, Pa decides to get off the eggs and over to the rabbit for a few bites, then back to the eggs at 6:29. Pa flew at 6:34 and Ma lands within seconds and to the eggs for the night after her adjustments!
