:1val: Ma arrived at 5:23 this morning and stood in the bowl. She's asleep with her head tucked by 5:44. She flew at 8:47. Pa arrived with a headless fish at 8:54 and Ma seconds later with vocals. Pa to the bowl to aerate and Ma still standing. They snipped on each other twice during his work. He moved a stick, aerated more, then to the rails to work. Ma has yet to take the fish. Pa back to the bowl to aerate, then he stood in it awhile. Next he goes to the front of the nest and at 9:11 to the left branch and out of sight. Ma was lightly vocal. Finally at 9:19 she claims the fish and eats. She struggled with it till getting her right talons on it to hold it down while she ate. She finished the fish at 9:25 and then picked at stray bits that dropped in the fluff during her meal. She flew at 9:28. Ma in at 5:21 with a large, whole, fish. She stabilized it with her right talons and began eating after her panting ceased. Pa came in at 5:38, looked at her fish, then went to the bowl to aerate. He flew at 5:54. Ma is still eating at 6:02 and the fish is a little more than half gone. She downed what was left with the tail in her usual gulp method at 6:09. Then flew to the left branch somewhat clumsily at 6:10. She returned at 8:10. By 8:19 she's down in the bowl aerating, then just resting there. Pa arrived at 8:21 and circles Ma in the bowl. He flew at 8:24 after walking up the rail to the left branch. At 8:35 Ma aerates the bowl and lies in it. She got up at 9:13 and is standing in it. Ma is standing on the edge of the bowl as I leave at midnight.

:1val: Ma has spent the night on the nest. Pa arrived at 5:22 this morning and aerated. He flew at 5:27. He returned at 6:09 from the right branch and aerated the bowl. They almost snipped on each other. He flew at 6:16. He returned at 7:08 and aerated. He flew at 7:15. Ma flew a minute later. She returned at 10:26 and stood on the nest until flying out at 11:02. Pa to the nest at 3:45 and stood till going to the left branch at 4:06 and flying out. Ma arrived at 5:23 and shortly she is alerting and looking around. Eventually she relaxes and preens. Pa arrived at 6:19. They alerted, then stand around looking. At 6:26, Pa starts aerating and moves a stick out of the way. By 6:29 he is just standing again. He flew at 6:34. Ma flew at 6:44. She returned at 6:47 and is vocal at intervals. Pa in at 7:22 and I think Ma thought he had something for her to eat from her actions, but he didn't. He moved a stick and started aerating. Pa to the left branch at 7:28 and eventually flew for the night. Ma to the bowl at 8:11 and aerated it before lying down in it. By 8:16 she gets higher up on it. And at 8:30 she's up and lying on the nest. The rest of the evening she is either lying on the nest sleeping or standing looking around. She is standing in the bowl as I leave at 1:19.

:1val: Ma spent the night again on the nest. There was a nasty rain at 6:43 this morning. Ma was lying in the bowl getting soaked. She got up at 7:58 and flew a minute later. No more action till 2:19 when the 3-4 y/o visiting eagle showed up on the nest. She messed with the fluff and sticks on the rail some and stood looking around. She flew at 2:40 without Ma or Pa being aware of her presence. Lucky girl!! Pa arrived at 7:41 and flew 4 minutes later. Ma arrived at 8:21 panting. Pa arrived 2 minutes later and aerated the bowl. He went to the right branch at 8:26 and out of sight. Ma continued to stand at the back of the nest till making her way to the bowl at 9:17. She aerated it and then stood in it and is eventually lying in it by 9:37. She got up at 10:25 and stood for a long while, but is lying in it again as I leave at 12:25.

:1val: Pa arrived at 7:15 with a very, dried-out stick with multiple pine cones attached. You could hear it crackle as he drug it across the nest to place. Then he aerated. Ma flew at 7:17 and Pa 4 minutes later. The Visiting Sub-Adult Eagle (confirmed female by Dr. C) that was here yesterday returned to the nest at 7:29. She was moving fluff on the floor again, then walked around eventually stopping to stand on the right rail facing outward. She flew at 8:02. Ma arrived to the nest at 10:35 and stood before flying out at 10:51. Did not see anyone on the nest this afternoon and early evening. There were a series of black screens from the cam tonight and it was impossible to know what was going on at those times. The first one was from 6:28 till 6:59 and when the cam came back, Ma was on the nest. After another black screen, she was standing on the nest at 20:00. She has either stood on the nest or lying in the bowl when seen between blackouts. After another recent blackout, she is standing on the nest as I leave at 12:30.

:1val: Ma has spent the whole night on the nest. At 7:07 this morning, Pa to the left branch, then down to the nest to aerate the bowl. Ma flew at 7:10 as Pa was messing with the stick of pine cones he brought in yesterday. Pa flew at 7:14. Nobody showed up on the nest till 3:06 when Ma arrived. She stood on the nest and Pa arrived at 3:16 and aerated. Ma took a couple swipes at aeration and he moved his pine cone stick again, then aerated and moved more sticks. He poked her with one of the sticks he was moving, so she pecked him! :teehee: He went to the other side of the nest and moved more sticks. Pa to the left branch at 3:31 and eventually flew. He returned at 3:36 with a stick to place, then more aeration. He flew at 3:44. He returned a few minutes later with a multi-stemmed stick that Ma tried to take from him, but he won the tug of war and placed it. He found another pine cone stick that was under Ma's bad foot and was gutsy enough to take it out from under her, but she was nice about it. She flew at 3:56. Pa flew 4 minutes later. He was back 5 minutes later with another multi-stemmed stick to place, then worked with other sticks on the rails and when finished he stood a few minutes before flying out. Ma returned at 4:38 and stood on the nest. Pa back at 4:55 with a fluff delivery, then aerated and worked with sticks. He flew at 5:05 only to return 4 minutes later with another stick to place. Ma flew at 5:11. Pa flew at 5:17. He returned at 6:57 with another stick to place and flew out at 7:04. He's back at 7:35 with another fluff delivery. He flew at 7:41. He's back at 8:15 and aerates. He stood awhile before flying out at 8:21 for the night. I can't help but wonder if he was looking or waiting for Ma. She never returned to the nest after leaving earlier this evening. It is 1:24 as I leave.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night on the nest last night. Pa arrived at 7:07 this morning with a stick to place and then aerates the bowl. He stood for 8 minutes (more unusual for Pa) until he went to the left branch and flew. Ma to the nest at 7:28 followed by Pa a minute later. They start moving sticks and aerated. Pa flew at 7:35 while Ma remains standing on the right side of the nest. Pa returns at 9:30 with a stick to place, then stood. Ma flew at 9:55. Pa watches to see where she goes and then follows out. No visits to the nest till Ma returns at 3:33 to stand. Pa returns at 6:54. Ma has stood all this time, but she started aerating immediately on his arrival! :teehee: He moved sticks from the floor out of the way, then aerated and did some rail work. Ma flew at 6:58. After doing some more rail work, Pa flew at 7:05. He returned at 7:14 with a stick to place, then a couple swipes at aerating the bowl and finally he stood looking around till flying out at 7:32. He's back at 8:00 with a stick to place, then he worked on rails. Pa flew at 8:18 for the night. Ma returned at 8:35 and aerated the bowl. She is lying on it 3 minutes later. She has either been lying or standing in the bowl all evening. Currently as I leave at midnight, Ma is standing in the bowl asleep with her head tucked.

Pa arrived at 7:56, he moved a stick, aerated the bowl, moved more sticks. He went to the left rails and seemed to try to remove the pine cones still attached to a stick he'd placed there previous, but gave up. Then more aeration and stick moving. Pa up to the right branch and out of sight at 8:22 for the night. Ma remained on the nest either lying in the bowl or standing the rest of the evening and is spending the night. She is standing in the bowl with her head tucked and asleep as I leave at 2:36.

:1val: Ma spent the night on the nest last night. Pa arrived at 6:54 this morning to the left branch, then down to the nest. Ma started aerating immediately and Pa watched her. :teehee: Quickly she stopped. Pa picked at the floor. Ma aerated a little more. Then they stood awhile till Ma flew out at 7:08 and Pa a couple minutes later. He returned at 7:14 with a stick to place and then worked on the right rail. He flew at 7:20. Ma returned at 12:26. I missed this afternoon and real early evening, but from chat Ma may have flown at 2:02 and if she did, I am unsure of the time of her return, but possibly 7:10 from chat. Do know when I came back at 7:25, she was already on the nest. Pa arrived at 7:26 to the left branch and then down to the nest where he eventually made Ma move from standing in the bowl, so he could aerate. :teehee: Then on to the rails to arrange sticks, move sticks from the floor to the rails, stand with Ma for awhile, back to the rails for more work. He went to the right branch and out of sight at 7:49. Ma continued to stand on the nest till lying down in the bowl at 8:02. Pa is back at 8:03 and begins moving lumber again, then a couple of minutes later he goes to the right branch and out of sight for the night. Ma continued to lie on the bowl the rest of the evening, but has been standing on the nest the last hour and a half and only recently has moved to the lowest point of the left limb.

:1val: Mom stayed the whole night. She was aerating at 7:11 this morning. Pa came in at 7:14 and started aerating the bowl, but saw Ma pick up a stick from the floor, so he took care of that for her. Then back to the bowl to aerate, but something caught their attention and they stood to observe. They relaxed after awhile and he started moving sticks on the rail. He flew at 7:19 to the right branch and out of sight. Ma flew at 7:24. Pa is back at 9:58 and aerates around the bowl area, then he is moving fluff around on the nest floor. He is lying on the bowl by 10:01 and up by 10:09. Back down on the bowl by 10:18 and standing by 10:43. He flew at 10.49. Ma arrived at 12:20 to stand on the nest. She flew at 1:27. Some one arrived to the left branch and all you could see was an occasional wing flap at around 4:46 and they turned from what little you could see and flew out a few minutes later. Ma arrives at 6:23 with Pa following her in a minute later. He aerated the bowl, then flew at 6:32. Ma is lying in the bowl by 7:56 and back up a minute later. Pa returns at 8:14 and is moving fluff on the floor, then he is probably aerating the bowl once again, but Ma is standing in front of him and blocking the view. A little snipping between them at 8:22, then Pa starts moving sticks and unfortunately poked Ma with one and that caused more snipping on one another. At 8:25 Ma to the bowl to stand and Pa to the left branch and flies for the night. Since, Ma has been either lying or standing in the bowl this evening. She is standing in the bowl with her head tucked and asleep as I leave at 12:10.

:1val: Ma spent the night here last night. At 7:00 this morning, Pa to the nest with a pine cone he placed near the bowl, aerated the bowl, moving sticks and fluff, aerated the bowl, rail work. Then at 7:10 he went to the right branch and out of sight. He returns a minute later moving sticks, stood awhile. Pa to the left branch and Ma flew at 7:15. Pa flew too. Pa's back at 7:19 with a stick to place. Two minutes later, he went to the left branch and flew. Pa returns at 1:55 with a headless fish and starts to eat, but seconds later Ma arrives and takes it from him. :teehee: That's okay, it was headless, so meant for her. While she works to get her good foot down on it to stabilize while she eats, Pa starts moving sticks and aerating the bowl. As Ma eats, he continues to work. He stood a bit, then to the left branch at 2:05 and he turns to face her. At 2:06, she downs the rest of the fish with the tail, then feaks. Pa hopped down onto the nest at 2:28 and aerates the bowl. He found a piece of fluff near the bowl with fish scraps on it and Ma noticed and leaned in to take it, but she ended up letting him eat it. :teehee: Then they stood around till 2:53 when Pa moved a stick and one of his pine cones near the bowl, then he aerated the bowl once again. He flew up to the right branch at 3:02 and out of sight. His shadow indicates he flew out a minute later. Ma is still standing on the nest. Pa returned at 3:08 with a stick to place. Ma flew at 3:10 and Pa watched her go and followed her out seconds later. Ma to the nest at 8:27 and panting. She settles in for the night and I never saw Pa again after he left this afternoon. She is standing on the bowl asleep with her head tucked as I leave at 11: 35.

:1val: Ma spent the night last night. At 7:02, Pa arrives with a stick to place. He moves another stick on the floor and then aerated the bowl, moving sticks on the rail, then he flew at 7:07. He returned at 7:10 with another stick to place and did some more rail work. He flew at 7:13. Pa returned at 7:18 with another stick to place. Ma flew at 7:20. Pa flew 2 minutes later. He returned at 9:37 panting with a fish. Ma flew in at 9:39 and took the fish. Ma struggles to get her good foot placed over it to hold down to eat. Pa flew at 9:44. She eats, then downs the remainder at 9:48. She rests, then flew at 9:51. At 12:12 a crow has arrived to the nest and finds something to eat from the floor before flying out. Ma arrived at 6:43 to the rear of the nest and stands to preen and look around. She moved toward the bowl at 7:58. Pa arrived at 8:00 and cut in front of Ma where he could get to 1 of his pine cones to move. Then while he was moving a stick, he knocked his pine cone he'd just placed with the stick back toward the bowl, so he had to move the pine cone back to where he wanted it again. He aerated the bowl while stooping under Ma's breast, then turned toward the right rails and Ma decided to get out of his way. He did a little more aeration, then they both just stood awhile. Pa to the left branch at 8:08 and flew a minute later for the night. Ma stood on the nest the rest of the evening. As I leave at 12:29 Ma is standing and preening.
