Saw some wing flapping and falling over.

Also couple of feeding within about an hour or so. They were all fed and full.

Great captures, Nancy. Last night Red Girl brought in a late night snack. It was getting pretty dark and she was still busy feeding her quintet. I could hear her clucking but could barely see her any longer.

Just saw the end of a feeding. The crops on those chicks look like they are about to burst. And one by one after the feeding there were five little poop shots!

I watched a feeding too, might have been the same. Man was it rowdy. Chicks jumping over chicks, stealing bites from others, snagging a big chunk and turning around and choking it down, in other words, just like a normal feeding.

About 15 minutes ago Trinity flew in with some prey. Red Girl was right on his tail and snatched the food from him and took it into the nest box. Not sure when the last feeding may have been, but the chicks looked like they weren't very hungry judging from the size of their crops. I would imagine the weather today in Wilmington is much like it is in Harrisburg. The nest box in Wilmington is WELL protected from the elements.

Just caught the end of another feeding. I saw a video on Facebook from this morning in which there were THREE breakfasts within an hour! After the feeding I just saw, one chick was fascinated with a feather blowing around in the nest box. Its little head was turning every way the feather went. SO cute! Red Girl has a loose feather on her left wing. It is sticking out at a 90 degree angle.
