Hope someone is recording cause you can see the 3 kids real good. I don't know how to do pictures. But I sure Ioza is getting this.

Didn't waste any time covering them. It's pretty windy out and cold.

I overslept big time this morning. Tuned in to see the end of a feeding and saw THREE chicks.

Lil dad.

Lil'dad was on the point fussing, he came to the nest and encouraged Niecey to leave. She returned with food to feed the chicks. One chick kept his head down the whole time. Don't know whether he was already full or couldn't get it up, not sure.

Lil'Dad just cam wobbling in with prey, I could just see him at the bottom of the page. She seemed busy.

Well he came back with a scrap and went into the box to entice her to get up I imagine so that he could feed the chicks or just to get her to move so that he could be with them.

She did try to snatch it from him. But he just left with it.

Is everybody all tuckered out this morning?

so I did catch a couple of minutes of a feeding, but only saw two eating.

Just watched most of a feeding, although I didn't see the beginning of it. I believe all three were well fed.

Nice feeding about half an hour ago. Niecey has her trio tucked in while Little Dad is on guard on the point.

I tuned in about half an hour ago to find a feeding underway. All had a good breakfast. At first Little Dad was on the stick at the beginning of the feeding. When the rain started coming down harder he went to his camera perch. When Niecey was done feeding she flew off with the remains, and Little Dad immediately came in to brood. That lasted less than a minute until Niecey returned. Not sure where Little Dad went, but don't see him on the camera perch. Forecast for our area today is WET all day. Temps around 50.

Lil Dad wanted to be with the chicks. The answer was no.

Later, I saw a chick's behind stick out to poop. Such precision it takes. But the funny part was how quickly he was able to scurry back under mom.

Watched a good feeding about half an hour ago. All three were well fed. Noticed that Little Dad was up on the camera perch during the feeding. When Niecey took out the remains of the meal, Little Dad was in the scrape right away, trying to find some scraps to feed the chicks. He didn't find any, and Niecey returned about half a minute later. Weather here today has been LOUSY. Tomorrow sounds better, but far from ideal.

She finished up with the little backwards one.

I saw that feeding also, Nancy. And about five minutes ago there was ANOTHER feeding. The chicks are stuffed!
