Just watched a feeding. Crops on the chicks look like balloons. After the feeding Niecey went to the stick, and Little Dad is on guard on the point. Ljames, that picture of Niecey with her leg out is a hoot!

There was a short feeding around 9:30 this morning. Went out to mow grass, but got rained out before being finished. Turned the cam back on and another longer feeder was in progress. Looks like the rest of the day is going to be wet here, with temps in the low 50s.

Well, right now I've lost all the cams. Hope it's temporary.

Saw a feeding a bit ago. It is downright cold here this morning. At least the sun is shining.

I've been without Internet for most of the morning. Glad to have it back. i understand all three chicks were out of the scrape at some point this morning. All back in there now, though.

Thanks for all the pictures, ljames. I saw pictures on Facebook of Lil Dad feeding them in the scrape later on. He was surely in his glory. Niecey has everyone tucked in for night now.

:eggthumb: Thanks, Heida! While not banding means we will never know who they are once they leave, in our unusual circumstances, for me it is more important and I am very pleased with them and hopeful they will find a way for the falcon watch and rescue!! From the "Falcon Wire":

5/13/2020 :: Update on Banding Event and Watch and Rescue
In the interest of protecting everyone's health during the pandemic, DEP and the Game Commission have canceled the 2020 Falcon Banding event, which usually takes place in May, for the first time in 20 years. DEP is still evaluating options for the Volunteer Falcon Watch and Rescue program and remains determined to provide support for the peregrine falcon program while ensuring the safety of employees and volunteers.

It's a shame about the banding. Does this mean they won't attach tracking devices or an antenna on them either?

Seems every picture I took, baby's face was blurry and Mom's was good or the opposite. I guess that was the baby and I didn't realize it until the bigger one came it to eat. The first one already in the nest got a several good bites, the prey was just a snack though. Didn't look like he was starving to begin with.

Niecey is sunbathing at her usual spot in front of the scrape. One chick wanted to come out there too, but didn't want to jump on his/her mother's back. Saw another chick go out the back door. It is quite warm here today.
