Baby is in the middle in the first picture. When Parent arrives, he begins moving to the front. He stood at the front for a long time, but Parent did not come right away and seemed to be looking around, so eventually he got behind again. I did not watch the whole thing.

These are random pictures throughout the day. Yesterday. Baby seemed to be in a good place some of the time. Of course, couldn't tell how much he got

Mom seems to feed right in front of the little one. It may be dad who doesn't do this. At any rate, he's getting enough food.

I just found out by watching the kids that they were banded. 5/11/20, 2 boys and 1 girl.

Mom came in with food but a little one stole it from her. She finally got it back. :teehee: Third one is outside the box.

Funny you said that catwoman. I was watching them today and thought my goodness, the little one has grown.

Thank goodness, he/she is thriving.

UC Davis

I can't remember the nest now, but one year we all fretted so much over the 'little one' who turned out to be a very big girl in the end.

Berkeley at Campanile

Peterson said the winning names were submitted by Berkeley Ph.D. student Tess Linden, who proposed Poppy as the name of the female chick with the code 24/AM on one of her leg bands. Since sequoias are more massive than redwoods, he said, the name Sequoia was given to the largest male chick, whose code is 01/AM. Until today, Sequoia's brother, Redwood, was known only as U/71.

Baby is in the back, in the front, and being fed up front.

They are moving around a good bit now. The cam was pulled back to see them better. Somewhat. It's hard to capture everything and still keeping the closeup views.
Oh so, I don't actually have a picture of the new angle.
