:1val: Ma did not spend the night. She arrived to the nest at 5:15 this evening panting and eventually to the bowl and lying in it. She stood at 6:34 and looked around for almost a couple of hours. Then back to lying in the bowl at 8:21. She stood at 9:22 and remained in this position the rest of the evening. Ma continues to stand in the bowl and is asleep with her head tucked as I leave at 1:35 am.

:1val: Berry College Eagles

52 mins · Shared with Public
Happy Wednesday, everyone! A few housekeeping notes:
The cameras will be offline for several days next week as we perform maintenance on the streaming servers. The approach cam is also down, and it will remain offline until we install a replacement camera.
If you enjoy watching the eagles, you can always donate to help keep the cams running! Thank you so much for all your enthusiasm and support.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night on the nest. But at 8:04 tonight, she arrived to the nest panting heavily, then to the bowl to stand. She is lying in it by 8:08. She remained in that position the rest of the evening mainly asleep. Ma stood at 12:18. The wind seems to be picking up some. She continues to stand as I leave at 12:27 am.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night. At 1:55 this afternoon, Pa to the left branch and seconds later to the bowl. He stood looking around. At 2:00 he is watching an eagle circling around the nest without alerting. Ma lands on the nest at 2:01. Pa immediately got busy picking at the grass and aerating the bowl. Ma moved closer to get in the bowl, but Pa blocked her as he continued to aerate and move a stick out. At 2:03 they are too close and snip at each other. :teehee: Ma assists with aeration for a few seconds and Pa continues to move sticks. Then they both stand looking around for a bit. Pa changed positions stopping to snip on Ma. :teehee: They continue to stand, then more snipping. :teehee: At 2:10 Pa maneuvers to the rear. Three minutes later Ma moves down into the bowl. At 2:17 Pa flew for the day. Ma stood at 3:05. Something catches her attention out from the nest at 3:18. She settles back down in the bowl at 3:21. Ma stood at 4:01, then to the left branch a couple minutes later and flew out for the day. The nest remains empty as I leave at 1:33 am.
