:1val: Ma did not spend the night. Ma to the nest at 8:11 this evening and then to the bowl. Pa arrived at 8:16 startling Ma, then he pecked her back causing Ma to snip on him. :teehee: Pa started a little rail work, then walked in front of Ma and she snipped on him again, then more rail work for Pa. :teehee: He slung part of a stick on Ma's back during his rail work. :teehee: She bit his right wing and when he turned around face to face, she bit the side of his face and he pulled back. :teehee: Pa went up to the right branch at about 8:18 and flew seconds later. Ma remained in the bowl the rest of the evening and eventually sleeps for awhile. She had been awake for awhile when unfortunately the cam went black at 10:05. The cam remains black as I leave at 12:57 am.

:1val: Ma spent the night. Per chat, Pa appeared on the right at 6:41 and down to the nest a minute later. Ma flew at 7:00 this morning and Pa flew 15 minutes later. At 7:33 this evening Pa flew in to the left branch and stood with his back to us. He watched some one flying around the nest, but out of our view. Then he looked around for awhile and then preened a little. At 8:07 after watching someone in the distance intently (Ma?), he turned and faced us and flew seconds later. The nest remains empty as I leave at 12:54 am.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night. Per chat, Pa was on the left branch and went down to the nest at 6:22 this morning. He went to the right branch at 6:54 and I assume out of sight or flew. No other eagle visits to the nest today. The nest remains empty as I leave at 12:41 am.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night. Ma came in at 1:52 this afternoon per chat. I found her at 2:21 lying in the bowl. She stood at 3:20 and back down in the bowl at 3:28. Per chat Pa arrived at 7:20 this evening and Ma snipped on him and he flew by 7:22. At 7:41 I found Ma standing, but unsure when she got out of the bowl. She was back to lying in the bowl in the same minute. Then she aerated for awhile as she continued lying in the bowl. Eventually she slept. Ma remains in the bowl sleeping as I leave at 12:11 am.

:1val: Ma spent the night on the nest. Per chat, Pa in around 6:39 with chatter. He left at about 6:57 and Ma flew at 7:02. Pa arrived to the nest at 5:00 this evening and stood in the bowl. Ma arrived a couple minutes later. Pa aerated the bowl. Very windy conditions. Pa went to the rear of the nest and Ma aerated the bowl. He flew at 5:04 and Ma settled in the bowl. Ma up at 6:47 and backs out of the bowl, looks around for a bit, then turns and looks around, eases toward the rear of the nest, then flew at 6:50. Ma arrived to the nest at 11:20 tonight fussing at someone we can't see. Could hear her fussing just before she arrived on the nest, don't know if she flew in or came down from a branch in the tree. She is on alert and looking upward. Pa is responding in the distance to her vocals at 11:30. She remains on alert. She settled in the bowl at 11:44. Ma seems fully settled now and appears to be spending the night as I leave at 12:02 am.

:1val: Ma spent the night on the nest. She flew at 6:56 this morning and Pa came in at 6:57 with a stick per chat. I came in at 7:02 and found Pa working on a large, multi-stemmed branch on the rear rails. At 7:12 he went to the base of the left branch and a minute later he walked up it and out of sight. Seeing a wing flap, he flew at 7:14am. There were no further eagle visits today. The nest remains empty as I leave at 12:20 am.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night on the nest. There were no eagle visits until 7:47 this evening when Pa arrived to the nest and stood and looked around. A blue jay landed on a branch behind the nest for a few seconds and did not go unnoticed per Pa. He turned around at 7:49 and stepped up onto a stick that is balanced on the rear rails and the base of the left branch and continued to look around. He turned and walked down it a little and flew out the rear of the nest at 7:58. The nest remains empty as I leave at 12:25 am.

 Cams 1 and 2 are back up since 17:57 pm. There is a wider view of the nest from cam 2 and just ever so slightly more on cam 1 toward the front end of nest and more of the right branch is now in view. No eagle visits yet. Berry College said cam 2 will not have sound this year. They are working on the approach cam and hope to have back online in the next few days.

Did not see any eagles this evening. The nest remains empty as I leave at 22:52 pm.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night. She arrived to the nest at 11:53 this morning with bloody residue from a feed to the base of the upper beak on both sides. She stood and looked around. By 13:45 she is lying in the bowl. She stood at 14:42 to preen and look around until she flew at 15:09. From the sounds after she is out of sight, unsure if she hit a branch with her wing as she flew out or landed on a branch, but she is not seen the remainder of the day. Pa not seen at all today. The nest remains empty as I leave at 00:25.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night. At 19:55, Pa arrived to the nest and stood. At 20:00, he did a little rear rail work. A minute later, he went to the right rails to stand. After a minute, he flew up to the narrow right branch and out of sight. At 20:07, Pa eased back down the branch and into view. Pa looks much larger when he is on the branch as compared to the nest and with his back to us he appears to be the size of Ma, but I think it is the cam angle and can see the new cam angles will take some getting used to especially when trying to decide if Ma or Pa. Then at 21:56, he eased back up the branch and out of view. Back down the branch at 00:07 and once again he is in view. At 00:35, you can hear vocals from an unknown bird that is flying about, perhaps a hawk, that Pa gives out a low-pitched almost guttural sound that I have never heard from him nor any other eagle. Then at 00:37 more vocals from the unknown bird and Pa jerks and crouches some. Pa to the nest at 01:01 and a few seconds later he gave a soft alert. Back to the same right branch at 01:07 and out of sight and another soft alert from him. He remains out of sight until 02:08 when you can see a sliver of him as he continues to perch on the branch. Then he moved up the branch at 02:27 and out of view again.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night, but Pa apparently did. He is on the left branch at 06:59. Then he went down to the nest at 07:04. He picked through the tips of the grass some. At 07:10, he flew up to the left branch and seconds later out for the day. No eagle visits for the remainder of the day that I was aware of. The nest remains empty as I leave at 00:45.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night. Pa arrived to the nest at 1557 and moved 1 stick on the rear rail, but mainly he just looked around. He flew out for the day at 1559. There were no other eagle visits that I am aware of. The nest remains empty as I leave at 0017.

Hoping the approach cam does not have to be reset daily as in the past.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night. Pa arrived to the nest at 0711. He moved a pine cone and debris out of the bowl to the nest floor. He picked through the tips of the grass and then just looked around. He moved to the base of the left branch at 0737 and hopped up onto the branch. At 0740, he went back down to the nest and rearranged a stick on the rear rail some. At 0741, he flew out the rear. Pa arrived to the left branch at 1219 and after a couple minutes he went down to the nest to stand and look around. He flew out the rear at 1241 for the day. No further eagle visits for the remainder of the day. The nest remains empty as I leave at 2317.

:1val: Ma did not spend the night. But she did arrive at 0730 to the nest and still has the bloody debris around her beak from a previous meal. She settled in the bowl at 0733. At 1027, Pa to the nest. He moved a stick from the left floor to the right rail. Pa to the base of the left branch and walked up it at 10:31 and flew a minute later. Ma stood as he flew out. He returned at 1034 with a stick and places to the right rails. Ma tried to pick up a stick from the floor, but was not able to balance on the one leg with it and she crouched down to regain balance and then started adjusting the rear rails. Pa got the stick from the floor Ma had tried for and placed it to the front rails. Then he aerated and moved debris from the bowl. Next Pa adjusts the rear rails. Ma cries softly when he gets too close. Next they both try to adjust the large, multi-stemmed branch to the rear rails. Pa goes to the bowl and tries to move out some feather fluff, but he is unable to as it is caught on the bowl sides. Pa flew up to the left branch at 1043 and flew seconds later. He returned with a stick at 1053 and places back and forth to the right and front rails, finally settling on the right. He went back to adjust the rear rails, then to the bowl picking at debris, more right rail work, more debris out of the bowl, back to the rear rails for more adjustments, to the bowl to stand, then more adjustments to the rear rails as Ma continues to stand. She cried softly a couple of times. Pa back to the bowl moving out more debris as Ma stretches. Then to the rear rails again for more adjustments. Ma cries softly at intervals, then to the bowl to stand. Pa moves a stick from the left floor to the right rails at 1127. Then he works on the rear rails as Ma gets out of the bowl at 1128. She stood awhile, then tried to help Pa some. She flew out the rear at 1130. Pa stopped to look, then continued his rail work, stood a bit, then more rail work. He stood some more before he flew out at 1149. Ma arrived to the nest at 1451, then settles in the bowl about 4 minutes later. She stood at 1618. Pa arrived at 1753 and went to the rear rails to work again. Ma flew at 1755 out the rear for the night. Pa to the base of the left branch at 1759 and then walked up it. He flew a minute later. Pa to the left branch at 1931, down to the nest seconds later and aerates the bowl, stood a bit, then flew out for the night at 1933. It has been raining at intervals here this afternoon and evening. The nest remains empty as I leave at 0002.
