:1wavingsnowgirl: At 7:36, found Pa and the female already on the nest standing at the rear which was as far back as I could go on the DVR. Found out they arrived within seconds of each other to the nest at 7:27 this morning per chat. The female went to the left branch at 7:37. Pa to the right rails to work. The female flew at 7:39. Pa to the left branch at 7:46 and flew a minute later. Shortly vocals could be heard in the distance.

Hello I posted these pictures to Guntersville Bald Eagle photography page. Several people suggested this may be the eagle that yall have been monitoring. I saw her this morning around 9:40 am Friday 12-18-2020 on Sunset Drive in Guntersville, AL. She came around the Kiwanas pier from north 431 flying southbound down sunset drive toward hwy 69. I dont know where she went from there I lost her in the trees.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Cam 1 is down and BCE said would probably remain down over the weekend. Unfortunately, the app cam froze a few minutes ago. So we are down to cam 2 without sound.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Missed the first visit of the day. But per chat, Pa arrived this morning at 7:16 and worked on the bowl, digging it out. They did not mention when he left.

Pa returned to the nest at 9:12 with prey and the female arrived seconds later taking the prey to eat. In the same minute Pa is upset and alerting and up to the left branch and flies. Pa returned to the left rails and remained upset and alerting at 9:13. The female alerted, then resumed eating. Then more alerting from both. Female continued to eat. Pa alerted. At 9:14, Pa to the bowl to aerate. The female continued to eat. Pa goes over by the female at 9:17 maybe looking for bits of prey left while she's up on the rear curve rails and feaking. Pa to the bowl to work at 9:18. He adjusted the left rails at 9:19 and the female stepped back onto the nest and aerated the bowl.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Pa to the nest at 7:13 this morning, striking one of the stick-ups on the rails as he came in. The female arrived seconds later. They got busy on the bowl. They stood a bit, then more aeration of the bowl. The female has made low, squeaky, vocals at intervals. The female to the right branch at 7:19 and flew seconds later. He watched her go, then stood a bit. He went to the left branch at 7:23 and flew seconds later.

Pa returned to the nest at 8:01 with a stick and placed it to the right rails. He stood a bit, then aerated and moved fluff about the bowl. At 8:04, to the left rails to adjust, stood a bit, then back to the bowl to aerate. At 8:07, the female arrived to the nest with a multi-stemmed stick she placed to the curve of the front and left rails, then they aerated the bowl together. Pa to the right rails to work and the female to the left rails and picked at them, then they both stood. Female to the rear curve of the rails at 8:13 and flew seconds later after light, squeaky vocals. Pa watched her go and went toward the rear curve and followed her out at 8:14.

Pa to the nest at 2:08, then to the bowl and stood. Next he took a stray stick from the floor and placed it to the rear rails, then stood again. He flew at 2:19 from near the rear curve of the rails and toward the rear woods.

Pa to the nest at 3:42 with the female arriving seconds later. They aerated the bowl, then stood a bit. The female moved fluff near the front rails, then they aerated the bowl and moved debris out. Then stood more. Pa to the left branch at 3:49 and turned and faced toward the left, then eased off the branch and flew out toward the front. The female moved fluff about, then stood. Pa returned at 3:58 with a stick and finally placed it to the right rails. They worked on the bowl, then stood. Female to the left branch at 4:00 and turned to face the nest. Pa stood in the bowl, then at 4:03 he moved toward the rear curve and flew seconds later. The female remained on the left branch and is lightly vocal at intervals. At 5:33, she went down to the curve of the rear rails then flew seconds later for the day toward the left, then toward the rear. Shortly eagle vocals could be heard in the distance.

Pa to the nest at 5:44 and stood in the bowl. A minute later he moved toward the rear curve and stood. He flew out for the day at 5:49 down and toward the rear. Soon eagle vocals could be heard in the distance. Rocky visits the nest at 9:52. The nest remains empty as I leave at 10:41 pm and eagle vocals are heard in the distance.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Pa to the left branch at 7:07 this morning, then down to the nest several seconds later and he aerated the bowl. He thrust his chest against the bowl wall and dug it out with his legs at 7:10, then lied down in it. Up at 7:11 and more aeration. He picked at the right rails at 7:12, then back to the bowl and stood. Female to the nest at 7:28 and Pa got busy aerating the bowl and she joined in. Then they stood a bit.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Nobody to the nest today until the female arrived at 12:23 this afternoon and Pa seconds later both soaked from the rains today. She aerated the bowl and he moved a stick, then assisted her. She stood a bit, then was lightly vocal and at 12:25 she resumed helping in the bowl. Next she got ahold of a stick on the left rails and Pa went to assist taking it away from her and started walking with it toward the right and got her caught in it for a few seconds. He eventually placed it on the rear curve. Female to the right branch at 12:28 and eased up it till out of sight. Can only see her tail feathers sometimes. Pa continued to adjust the left rails and brought a stick from there to the front rails. Then he adjusted the curve of the front and right rails. She flew at 12:30. He stood a bit, then to the right branch at 12:32 and flew seconds later.

Pa returned to the nest at 1:22 with a multi-stemmed stick that he tried about the different rails before getting tangled up in it and when he freed himself it went overboard at the front rails from his thrust. He adjusted sticks on the front rails, aerated the bowl, then stood. He went to the left branch at 1:39 and flew a minute later.

Pa returned at 4:04 to the nest and moved a stray stick. Female to the left branch at 4:05 and he placed the stick to the rear rails, then they aerated and moved stray sticks about the floor to various rails. A little aeration per the female, then they stood for awhile. She resumed aeration at 4:10 and Pa joined in. The female has eased back onto the rear rails at 4:11 and Pa aerated the bowl a little. They stood a bit. She let out a chirp at 4:12 and flew toward the left seconds later for the day. Pa turned and followed her out for the day. Shortly eagle vocals could be heard in the distance. The nest remains empty as I leave at 11:50 pm during snow flurries.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Pa to the nest at 7:06 this morning and immediately to the bowl to aerate. Female to the nest at 7:08 and eventually she joins in with the aeration. (TBC) Rocky on the nest this evening. Pa (fluffed out) to the nest at 3:26 this morning and he made his way to the bowl and aerated. He dug it out at 3:27 with his talons, then aerated the bowl more and stood a bit. At 3:29, to the right rails and up to the right branch and out of sight. He can be seen however, on the approach cam. He is sleeping with his head tucked as I leave at 4:42 am.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Pa eased down the right branch at 6:53 this morning after having been there since the middle of the night. (See above post) Right away he went to the nest and aerated the bowl. (TBC) The nest remains empty as I leave at 11:45 pm.
