:1wavingsnowgirl: At 7:13 this morning, Pa arrived per chat. I came in at 7:15 and he was standing on the nest. He continued to stand for awhile. Then to the left branch and flew at 7:19.

The female arrived to the nest at 7:35 and moved a stray stick from the floor to the rear rail curve, then aerated the bowl a little, crouched on the nest floor and moved fluff. She got up at 7:38 and moved more fluff, then stood awhile. At 7:47, she stood on the left side of the nest and aerated the bowl a little, then got in the bowl and brought fluff to her chest. She stood at 7:48 and moved more fluff. To the left branch at 7:49 and flew seconds later.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Pa arrived to the nest at 7:15 this morning and then headed to the bowl to move fluff and aerate. He stood awhile. The female arrived to the nest at 7:27 and Pa immediately got busy on the bowl. She joined in on the aeration. At 7:30, the female crouches on the nest and aerates the bowl, while Pa stood. Pa to the curve of the front and right rails at 7:31, then up to the right branch seconds later and flew after a few more seconds. The female watched and continued to move fluff and got up. At 7:35, she was vocal and went up to the left branch and flew seconds later.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Pa to the nest at 7:27 with a stick that has a pine cone attached and he placed it to the right and front curve of the rails. Next to the bowl to aerate. Then to the right rails to adjust. To the left branch at 7:34 and flew seconds later.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Pa to the left branch at 7:23 this morning and the female flew in a second later from between the 2 right branches barely toe tapping one prior to landing on the nest. She started aerating the bowl and Pa hopped down to help her.

:flirty: Don't worry Pa, I know you are the one and same as does Berry (and their "eagle experts") who updated their "Berry Eagle FAQ" this month:

"IS THIS THE SAME FEMALE EAGLE?: No; the original female eagle got into an altercation with the new female eagle at the end of November 2020, and left the area. That new female is now the resident female. The original female was most recently spotted by a photographer in mid-December 2020 at Lake Guntersville in Alabama.

IS THIS THE SAME MALE EAGLE?: According to our eagle experts, who have reviewed photos and video to look at his appearance and behavior, the male eagle is the same."

:1wavingsnowgirl: Pa to the nest at 7:24 this morning, he moved the husk around and aerated the bowl, then to the front of the nest to stand. At 7:36, he went up on the curve of the right and front rails and flew out between the two right branches seconds later.

At 7:53, the female arrived to the nest and aerated the bowl. She went to the left branch at 7:56 and flew a minute later.

At 10:22, the female returned to the left branch and called out at intervals for Pa. She went down to the nest at 10:24 and aerated the bowl. A minute later she backed up onto the front rails and stood looking around. She went to the rear of the nest at 10:32 and flew seconds later toward the rear.

Pa to the nest at 11:07, then to the bowl and moved the husk again and aerated the bowl. Next he stood a bit. He went to the rear of the nest at 11:14 and flew seconds later toward the left, then the rear.

Pa to the nest with a fluff delivery at 11:50, then he stood a bit. Female to the nest at 11:53 with a fluff delivery, then she picked up the pelt remains from yesterday that happened to be right in front of where she landed near the rear curve. She took it to the front of the nest and got up on the front rails with her back to us and ate. Pa aerated the bowl and moved a hunk of fluff over to and against the right rails. Then he crouched over the bowl for a bit. He went to the left side of the nest at 11:56 and flew out for the day. She stopped eating to see where he went. She finished at 12:05 and feaked on the rails. She stood a bit, then onto the nest to move fluff about the floor and next she went to the rear of the nest and stood. She flew at 12:07 toward the left.

The female arrived to the left branch at 4:16 and was vocal some. She went to the nest at 4:18 to aerate the bowl and move fluff. More vocals. Over to the right rails to move Pa's fluff he'd placed against them earlier further down. She went to the rear of the nest at 4:19 and flew out for the day toward the left, then rear seconds later. At 5:09 eagle vocals were heard. Saw Rocky visit the nest at 7:53 and 8:38. The nest remains empty and it is raining as I leave at 1:04 am. Happy New Year, the coyotes went wild at Berry right at my midnight in the Central Time Zone!!

There were intruders, or intruder today. A few flybys quite close to nest so no wonder she is uneasy.
Will try and get pictures as I can

:1wavingsnowgirl: Sorry you all, I am too tired tonight to type anything, but will try to do so tomorrow in this spot as the day goes on in between watching her and Pa. It was a long day. Pa arrived to the nest after she laid the egg at 4:51 at about 5:27 this evening alerting because of an eagle intruder. The intruder did 2 flybys shortly after his arrival. It appeared to be a large eagle. With Pa's arrival she stood and alerted with him. She is most recently upset because Rocky paid her a visit at 11:21 and it was a real treat to see her quick, clean-cut reaction. She has not quite settled since. She is standing with the egg in view as I leave at 12:15 am. I can't wait to see Pa in the morning with his egg and hopefully no intruder holding his interest. Hope she gets a good nights sleep and Pa from where he is roosting tonight. And Ma Berry, wherever you are tonight I hope you are sleeping peacefully too.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Pa to the left branch at 7:36 this morning, then immediately down to the nest and aerated the bowl. The female arrived to the nest at 7:37 from below and up between the two left branches kicking a stick up from the left rails and went to assist with aeration. They stood a bit, then she crouched on the nest floor and aerated the bowl. Pa assisted. At 7:44, she moved the husk about the floor. Pa worked at the tangle, then they went back to the bowl to work. Pa went to the left rails at 7:46 to adjust the stick she kicked up when arriving this morning. Pa to the left branch at 7:47 and turned to face the left and flew after turning around a minute later. She watched to see where he went, then was lightly vocal. At 7:49, the female hopped up to the left branch landing facing the nest. She turned around at 7:50 and was vocal, then flew.

:1wavingsnowgirl: The female is incubating the egg at 6:18 this morning. Pa arrived to the nest at 7:19 and stood. He headed toward the female at 7:20 and she got up and stood on the rear of the nest. Pa stared at the egg, then he picked at the bowl. At 7:22, the female flew to the left branch and out seconds later. Pa stepped down into the bowl at 7:23 and aerated. He rolled the egg at 7:24, aerated, rolled the egg again and then down to incubate. He brought a little fluff toward his chest.

:1wavingsnowgirl: At 7:31, Pa to nest this morning to relieve the female who has been on duty all night. Got Pa's arrival time per chat, but am unsure when the female left. After a short incubation, Pa to the left branch at 7:42 and flew seconds later. At 7:44, Pa returned to the nest. I think when Pa leaves the nest for a 1-2 minute period he is relieving himself as you don't normally see him back up to the rails during incubation for a PS as Ma or the new female do. At 8:29, Pa flew out over the left branch and a couple minutes later the female arrived to the left branch and down to the bowl seconds later to aerate, roll the egg, aerate and settle. The female was vocal at 9:27 and Pa arrived with a fluff delivery to the left side of the nest, then did some left rail work. The female got up and went to the front rails and flew out between the 2 right branches a minute later. Pa went to the bowl at 9:28 and looked at the egg for a bit, then rolled it and settled and brought fluff toward his body.

:1wavingsnowgirl: There was a reset this morning and I was only able to go back to 8:08 on the DVR. At that time Pa was incubating the egg. (Per chat, Pa arrived at 7:19 and the female flew for her first break at 7:21.) Pa got off the egg at 8:15 and flew from the nest toward the left, then rear, then circled back left in the distance. Eagle vocals heard.

:1wavingsnowgirl: Reset this morning, so per chat, Pa arrived at 7:13 for a nest exchange and the female returned around 8:40. When I came in at 9:10 the female was on the nest incubating.

She was lightly vocal at 10:09 and Pa arrived with a fluff delivery. They both acted as if they see something out the front of the nest and Pa tracks it and starts to throw his wings out a couple times. Then as Pa continued tracking it a smaller unknown bird came in view on cam and landed on one of the right rear, branches and flew away. Pa settled down. The female got up and off the eggs at 10:11. She flew to the left branch at 10:12 and away seconds later. Pa to the bowl at 10:13 and rolled the eggs and settled over them, then brought fluff closer to his body and started his turn at incubation.

Pa seemed to see something at 1:47 and flew off from the left of the nest toward the left. He returned in the same minute to the right front of the nest from between the two right branches and looking upward and alert. Then to the bowl and rolled the eggs and settled and brought fluff around himself. Pa was vocal at 3:12 and flew out toward the left.

The female arrived a minute later from between the two right branches to the rails, then over to the bowl and settles over the eggs and brings fluff toward her chest and starts her turn at incubation.

Pa arrived to the left side of the nest at 5:45 with a hunk of unknown prey. The female got up and took it toward the rear rails to eat. Pa to the left branch at 5:47 and flew out seconds later for the day. The female finished eating at 5:56 and she went to the bowl to aerate and settled over the eggs, then brought fluff toward her chest and began her night incubation duty.

It has been a uneventful evening. She has been up to change positions and roll the eggs several times. The nest remains quiet as I leave at 1:53 am and the female is asleep with her head tucked.
