The shell I see- is that from the first hatch, or is there a second hatch?

I think only one hatch and baby seems to be free of the shell. Here is a feeding.

Especially the first day where they're falling over. I'm glad I don't have to hit the mouth when the chick's

Just saw another feeding. Little guy seems kind of weak. He ate some, but sometimes Moxie held the food right by his beak and he didn’t grab for it right away...I’d like to see him a little more robust, especially before his siblings start to hatch....

That's kinda how I was feeling watching Bowling Green. They seemed sluggish and didn't want to eat..had to remind myself that they weren't even 24 hrs old.

This little one had to work so hard to kick free of the egg. Probably still pooped...no pun intended.

Mox is so sweet nad patient. I am a bit surprised the other eggs arent hatching yet

so often 3 hatch in one day

Yes, I’ve been thinking about that too, Shep. But I wonder if the little guy would have survived if he had to compete against some robust siblings for food....I’m just going to worry about one thing (hatch #1) at a time...

ALL young dont survive
SIMPLE fact of nature
