EXACTLY, GIGI! What an attitude! I’m curious to see if it’s a boy or a girl, and it’s band information. EDIT... 30 minutes later and Moxie is still on guard duty, and chick is taking a nap - that is one fearless little chick!

Thank you for the video, Terka- isn’t this some sassy little chick!? I enjoyed watching Jamie and Moxie flying in and out, too. Did one of them land on that guys back for just a second? A very enjoyable banding!

I also wondered about one of the adults either landing on or flying very near.

WOW, Terka, your post answered all my questions. We’ve got a girl, named Bee Gee ( for Boys and Girls clubs in Fort Wayne) band is black/ blue K/50. Moxie and Jamie were certainly impressive as they defended their nest from the pesky humans :biggrin:

BeeGee was standing in the corner with her back to us when I first came on. Parent was waiting patiently for her to come over. Here she comes...look at her bling! Do you ever see “Brad”, Gigi? I think he did such a great job at the whole banding process...He was gentle with BeeGee when he handled her and even had a sense of humor when she tried to nip his hand. I’ve seen some bandings where the chicks were not treated as well. Probably one of the reasons BeeGee was so calm after the banding. If you ever see him, thank him for doing such a good job...

I have never met Brad. I agree he had a great sense of humor wagging his finger at BeeGee who seemed to be screaming at him.
