When I read that you said Orange slipped off, I went back and she was still showing on my cam view, so I waited for it to happen. You have to refresh the cams constantly here to keep current. I hope she is okay, so sorry it was an accidental fledge. But she's very capable of flight. Wish she had the advantage of purposeful.

Does the Richmond nest has a fledge watch? I remember one year, Barb was down there doing fledge watch with her 2 birds that she was in charge of rehabbing. I remember cause I called her down there (for some reason). That was obviously before the stroke.

They are supposed to have people on the ground..sure hope so...and sure hope barb is down there.

The pics I posted above are out of sequence...I'm gonna have to start over with Orange's slip...I just deleted them.

She went straight up (maybe aiming for the box?), but looked like she started climbing the wall. Its a rough surface.

Thank you sgb for your excellent coverage. I have missed everything, so glad you caught it. It is a beautiful day for a fledge! I still have wee ones, so can’t really go downtown. I’m going to try to get down tonight or tomorrow. I’m sure keeping up with 4 is crazy.

:buzzybee: Cam op scanning Sun Trust. They always seem to have cranes set up in this area. A fledge landed on a crane once here.
