Thanks Dina!! I went through the DVR completely yesterday trying to figure it all out...I also posted info on the Lansing FB page, but my post has disappeared...ah technology.

Like Beth said, we are watching the MSU Stadium nest. I didn't realize it was so close to this one.

oh my,
will have cam up. have been checking off and on during incubation but on weekend I just did not clue in.

this is normal for a new male. He is trying to establish a bond.

hoping for th e best. hope resident male o.k.

I was gone all day (Monday) ~ it must have been wild-falcon Monday
on several nests...!!

he is doing what he should. she went off a few time s when he came in and he stayed at nest for a bit , but last few times when he came in, she stayed. this is all normal, as he is courting

sad but I guess we have to accept these things as normal now

was just going to post same picture.
she i s never off for too long but unfortunately this is how he courts. we saw the same in willmington. natural . but a few times sh e told him to take a hike

he does stay in fo r a bit.
at one point he brought prey and dropped it just below front of box. He tried to get but do not know if he succeeded

sh e was off quite awhile this time. sh e would come back and he would come in and so on. but I did see movement in the biggest pip. opening and closing

i am hoping all do not hatch. He will hunt , but she will be doing the care. At least from all I have witnessed in situations like this. But every falcon. different

I have appointments off and on today but will try an d keep cam on record

he brought her prey at 8:49,( a left over) she ate a bit and took it off nest. He stayed with kid and eggs. two big pips and on e is moving in side . no time for photos . maybe later when I get home

so fingers crossed. things do not always work th e way we want to see, but nature has different ideas
chick does not need fed yet and she will probably wait till another hatch
