I think that's little-bitty one that she's feeding. It is. It got several bites. Mom was very gentle and patient. Feed was over in a few minutes because of the size of these little ones. :CLAPS:

He appears to be strong for as young as he is. He got back over to his siblings, and is now under Mom. :CLAPS:

If Mom has anything to do with it, he'll survive! She feeds him when he's half on the ground or up on his feet!

I couldn't see much the feed because the circle took up most the feed. Must be many watching!

The little one finally got a decent feeding because he tipped over less at the end of the day. I hope he gets stronger. Earlier in the day, Mom went to feed him and he couldn't help tipping over. Mom did get a few bites into him.

The little one had the wing of one of the big ones holding him down. He finally got loose and was resting on the egg. Mom fed him, but not enough. She felt uncomfortable with her balance reaching across to him. I kept saying "take the prey over to him", but she didn't hear me. He was standing up like the big kids but when Mom went to give him a bite, he fell over. :girlsad3:

She's still feeding him when he opens his mouth. He's in a better position than he was yesterday. Doubtful if he's getting enough food to keep up the his strength. :girlsad3:

I had my doubts if he would make it Monday. 2 times (at least) he got too far away from Mom, and the last time I saw him he didn't even have the strength to open his mouth. :tissue:

NWS has a bulletin up for a “potential Mesoscale Convective System” (derecho) to pass over Ohio overnight. Mostly it will affect the middle third of Ohio, going north west to south east. I am concerned for the Toledo and Bowling Green falcon families, especially any newly fledged youngsters….

Well, a blessing in disguise- the driving wind and rain from the storm cleaned both BG’s and Toledo’s cams!I hope Toledos fledglings are OK.
