shows difference in tail if you have trouble telling 2 apart

and this epicure is when M15 comes to nest early hours of NOv27, when F23 was a bit nervous after an owl zoomed past. no one was targeted


I hope only 2 eggs. 3 is difficult at the best of times

Usual owl attak but not every night . Owls are incubating also

Was hoping to pos t some photos but….. They did well during storm

They are doing great here. Both in sync and working well together as a team with incubation. Both of them cannot get enough egg time. Her instincts are spot on. Lots of fluff brought in by both parents-to-be before the storm and cold weather set in. I believe she will make a great mom. He picked a keeper. Praying for the best.

No pip seen yet.
Eagle flattened down to protect from rain.

They have officially announced the pip but it is more.
Such magic

As I head to bed, the crack continues to grow so it should be fully hatched by morning

And Egg #2 has a pip - I saw it.
3.40 am Lady called male, he came - poked her, she got up. The eaglet has hatched but not free of shell yet.

8 am Eaglet still PUSHING, trying to break outta shell.
The shell is crushed in several places - and bloody.

HATCH IN PROGRESS! After hiding the eggs for most of the day,
20:54 looks to be a large pip/crack in one of the eggs!

Still not free yet?

She does not show much but so good that hatchlings will be close together
