She was too busy cleaning feathers to give him a bite.

Dad brings extra food.

I checked the other cams for another view when she got in front of him, but the cam which got most of it, you could hardly tell the chick from one of the eggs! :girlsad3:

Yesterday Gimbir brot 3 prey ( starlings ) inside 5 minutes.
Dumped one on doorstep, dumped #2 next to it - came in with #3 but left with it.

Some of what these chicks go through if there is an unhatched egg. You can see half the eggs. I see what could be a pip on the egg closest to the chick. :leafthumb:

Just before I started recording, Gimbir was watching from the corner where he was in the previous video. He paid attention to every move she made!

Dad is really cute, but seems confused about the chick.
He knew those eggs - now one is broken - and moving . . . what o what is happening . . . . .

Mom doesnt like starling - but she'll give it to that moving egg . . . . .

Will my other eggs break too?

I thought Gimbir was going to brood for a minute there...he's not sure.

Mom feeding him. You can't see, but half the time. It's obvious she's feeding him. :leaves:

He's a strong chick. From day 1, the chick didn't topple over like most newly hatched chicks do! :10sum:

I want another chick to be hatched, so Gimbir knows the there is a connection between the egg and the chick. He's doing superdad to be max! :10sum:
