I was watching the Lincoln cam for a bit. I saw many visits by “Jet” the tiercel (Mean Jean’s name for him) He was very active at the nest. It is very windy there. When Jet wanted to take off all he had to do was spread his wings, and the wind swept him away. I did not see the female, but he acted as though she was near..

“Mean Jean” is the main commenter on Lincoln’s Peregrine Facebook page which is called :
“Peregrine Falcons Lincoln Ne USA” (I copied this exactly as written) She has faithfully posted videos and screen shots of the handsome resident tiercel, Jet 39/V black/ blue as we have waited for a female peregrine to come and stay. (Months and months). Finally a few weeks ago a lovely banded female named Sierra (36/H black and blue) from Omaha arrived and has been spending time with Jet! We are over joyed!! :loveshow:

I actually caught Jet, the male zooming into his nestbox. I really think he thought the female, Sierra, was right behind him, but not this time….keep him guessing, Sierra! So great if we can have a pair at Lincoln this year!
