I watch a lot of falcon cams ( too many!! )
and there is a LOT of competition for nesting.
Some competition from one year juvies - which makes no sense - but ruins chances for eggs.

Older birds ousted by young birds, most of breeding age. (barely)

Chesapeak female ousted after 1 egg. Poor Boh mourned it!
New female laid 5 eggs in new scrape - didnt include ole forlorn Eggbert. :egg15:

I KNOW Im not tellin y'all anything - just posting my observations.

Greg Septon founded Wisconsin’s Peregrine Falcon Recovery Project in 1986. To mark four decades of service, We Energies surprised Septon with a special celebration at the Wisconsin Humane Society’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
