Unless I miss either of them, I have not had anything to post since 6am today.

Well perhaps it may be due to other birds having thier suitcases all packed and starting thier migrations that Mom and Lil Dad are out checking out new dining opportunities and are at some new poultry buffet dining????

LIL DAD HAS BEEN ON TOP OF THE STEEPLE FOR A WHILE NOW, BUT OTHER THAN THAT, I DIDN'T SEE ANYBODY ON THE LEDGE YET EITHER.

A HAWK FLEW OVER AND LIL DAD WAS FLYING AROUND SQUAWKING AND THEN LANDED ON THE TOP OF THE STEEPLE STILL SQUAWKING FOR ABOUT ANOTHER 5 MINS OR SO. HE THEN WENT BACK TO THE LOUVERS TO COOL OFF.

WELL I GUESS THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN DAD AT THE END OF THE LEDGE BECAUSE NOW THAT ONE IS GONE AND LIL DAD'S ON HIS CAMERA PERCH.

Really enjoyed the pictures posted earlier this evening. As I figured I'd do, made a spin downtown tonight. Got there around 7, and there must have been something going on downtown, for I had a terrible time finding a place to park. Ended up on Fourth Street near the church with THE STEEPLE, but I don't like parking there because of the clientele that hang around the restaurant/bar there. Walked over to the Amtrak Station to pick up a train schedule, and found Little Dad on the point and Mom on the 9th floor ledge of the RC Building. When I came out of the station, Little Dad was still on the point, but Mom had flown over to the steeple. Went up to the roof of the Chestnut Street Garage for a better look. Mom had obviously just eaten, as she looked completely stuffed. For part of the time she was having a snooze. Little Dad flew around a couple times like he was hunting, but didn't see him catch anything. He may have been picking at some leftovers on the ledge, for I could see him cleaning his talons at one point. Each time he flew around, Mom was watching. I would have like to stay to watch them come in to roost for the night, but wanted to get back in the car while there was still some daylight left.

Thanks for that report, Jane. I'm glad you are being safe downtown at night. What a pleasure to hear of Mom & Lil Dad's evening activities.
