Yep, I am sporting my new Peregrine Patrol T-shirt which was a complete surprise that such a thing was a perk for volunteers. Thanks for the "good egg" comments, but those who have done this for years are truly the good ones.

Like Gigi said, it is looking more and more like that bizarre story about the falcon on the car's windshield may be true.

But on a brighter note, today was fun watching a couple of really good flights, a couple of slightly botched landings and a couple of really good landings. The best sight was when KathyQ flew with one of her kids in wide circles and gently circled it back toward the Market Tower where that juvie made a beautiful landing upon a light next to a stanchion on the 31st floor. No doubt we Patrolers who were whooping and hollering at the beautiful display in the sky may have attracted some "looks" from passers-by. Did we care? Nope! :spingirl:

Susan, I am sooo glad you are part of the patrol. You have such good eyes and don't miss a thing! And you truly look lovely in your new T Shirt!!

Way to go gigi and Susan!!! It sounds like you were really treated to a wonderful "show" today. I would love to have a camera on the people watching you guys...I bet that would be a hoot!!!

so the falcon on the windshield is true? You are kidding me...I'm with you DEF, no disprect to you lady, but what planet are you from? Did she panic? Not see the juvie? Talking on her cell? Incredible!!! I do hope "she" can be located and is all right...news coverage is always a good thing...get the public to help!!!

Sounds like you are both having a great time! Its so nice having a team on the ground. I feel the same way all of you do about the complete disregard for nature by some people. Won't she be embarrassed if she sees the news stories.

About your picture from last night, SGB, Richard said that would be one of the girls based on her size above the ledge. He enjoyed seeing it.

There was another rescue today unfortunately, but Maxie is okay and back out on the 31st floor ledge. Some think she might be the one that went missing on Wednesday and others thinks she is one that flew off this morning at 6:00 a.m. with another juvie. Still only 3 confirmed juvies.

One kid is really flying well and hitting most of his landings. Kathy enticed one off the ledge this afternoon by flying back and forth with food. They both flew to the south side of Market Tower where the reward was delivered. :grin:

SusanE - Thanks for the update. I'm so glad that today's rescue went well and that Maxie is fine. Now if the 4th juvie would just show up, all would be well.

WOW...another rescue...but so glad to hear that Maxie is ok...that would be so wonderful if she were the "windshield" falcon...of course, you've only confimed three, so that means one is hiding...I hope you had semi-cool weather there today...I'm sure the patrol was really running around with these kids...
