From what I know about these falcons, so migrate & some don't. When Zenith was the resident female, she migrated every year, but Buckeye stayed here. That caused a problem cause she started returning later & later & the last few years Buckeye had given up on her & taken a new mate. Clearpath was one & Zenith killed her to get her nest back. SW killed Zenith because she & Buckeye had already started nesting when Zenith returned & tried to re-claim her nest! :shock:

Well then if boomer hasn't been seen i wonder if he isn't migrating then.
If so I sure hope he gets antsie and returns real early

He hasn't been there today but it's brutally hot in Columbus and I assume it's the same in Cleveland. Hopefully SW didn't say, "Boomer, although you are a Magnificent Male, I am waiting for my Ranger to return."

I haven't seen much of Boomer either but caught one quick look this morn. (at least I assume it's Boomer)

Thanks for the nice shots today ljames. I noticed that Boomer is paler grey than SW. (Just pointing it out. I'm always trying to come up with ways to distinguish when they are alone at the nest. :-)

Here's a nice look at Boomer's face. I miss Ranger (am so thankful that he is improving everyday!!) but I'm smitten with Boomer.

That is great news! Of course, if he's released soon, we'll have to worry about what will happen between him & Boomer once he returns home. :shock:
