Thank you kittenface for alerting us to C&C's post. This is one time one of my wishes came true and it makes up for some of the ones that didn't.

Ranger was in pretty bad shape when he came in, not able to balance, trouble defecating, unable to grasp his food or even eat properly and an eye contusion. He improved very slowly at first. Medina Raptor made a good call to just give him plenty of time and he then began to improve steadily. I have gained much admiration for this facility and I respecfully extend my thanks.

KF...thanks so much for posting such great news....I was so worried about him...They have done such a great job for him...and I do want him to be released...but I too am worried about he and Boomer getting into it...Ranger, fresh outta rehab, doesn't need that stress...Boomer, being so young, doesn't need it either...NOT TO MENTION US!!!!

I am glad to hear that little Ranger is doing so well. Unfortunately, if he is released, he's sure to head back to the nest, where our Boomer is. Well, we'll just cross that bridge when we get there. It is truly remarkable that he has made such progress. Those folks at the center have done a great job, and didn't give up on him. :cheer

Hi Everyone!

I went to Froona site on YouTube and there is a wonderful video of Boomer as a kid. Towards the end of the video he comes very close to the cam. He is Hollywood Handsome.

Thanks for posting Froona's video of Boomer, Mick! Wouldn't she be delighted to know that he has turned up & has a nest of his own! :smile:

SW has been at the nest box most of the day with visits from Boomer. Here's 2 captures with them together. At times, I think but am not sure, Boomer was there awhile without SW.

Not sure whether this is Boomer or SW, but because of the darkness of feathers I think SW.

Some good news this morning. The following posted by Scott at CMNH;

"Photos of the new kid.

Ok gand so sorry my Dial up has been way messed up so I had to wait till I could get to a computer with www.

After oh so many tries to see the "new male" on Thursday I got to see him. He is wonderful and he is not at all shy around people. So here we go. 40 or So images of the new kid in town."

I included a photo taken by Scott and provided a link for you to see the remaining.

Thank you Scott!!

:smilesun: yep :loveheart:

Light body ending in a dark seemingly sharply pointed short tail; at least sharper than SW's seems to end. It helps me to identify if I imagine him as slightly heart-shaped.
