Laura just sent an email that was forwarded from John Castrale of the Indiana DNR. Apparently Our IndyFroona is living in Wisconsin!!! Here is the message from Greg, whom I am guessing, is a Wisconsin DNR employee. And, boy do we have info on the name!!!!

"I was cleaning the nest box at the Port Washington Generating Station this morning and was able to read the band on the new female. She is one of your 2009 falcons named "Indy Froona" (b/g) *V/*Y, produced at the Market Tower site in Indianapolis . The color band is also on this falcon's right leg. 'Hopefully she'll stick around and nest there next spring.

Do you have any "inside Info" re. the name? I'm sure when I let the folks at the power plant know about this - they'll be asking."

KF, is there a cam. I looked at the power plant site and on Little Birdie Home and did not find one.

Kittenface checks all the nests everyday & posts slideshows of any where she found someone. I think its been a while since she caught anyone there, but since Froona was seen today, maybe she'll show up on cam one of these days!
